DGM SpecB in a downtown Parking lot on Monroe this morning.
(Your licenses plate tipped off your anticipation for the new "Transformers" movie...)

Of course I did'nt go back and check out your earlier post describing in detail the shifting/long term strength benefits- I was just riding the train and the question came to mind( I got lazy and just asked-everthing is on the site/with a little digging I think there's a thread describing how to make a Legacy corkscrew through a tunnel)
Thanks for clarifying (again) and looking forward to the results.

Just to clarify-
If and when this happens- this will mean quicker shifts but not opening the gate for a 18g/20g option? (will this mod will make the auto tranny stronger?able to handle more pow-wa?)

PM sent-

That makes sense now- I thought my old Perrin end links ran out of grease in their ball and socket joints- I replaced with kartboys- added the "bils" as you call 'em and still the "creaky-id-yee-creek" over bumps and out of driveways.( thats not the reason I replaced everything- but I thought it would help). Now it makes sense to grease the bushings( they are polyurethane ).
Thanks B Monkey!

The close up pics tells the story better than the profile. I am on Bilstien shocks/Rallitek springs, lots of front squeaky/suspension travel noise( like over speed bumps). I don't know how to correct the horrible noise. Stock was quiet and now I've upgraded to great handling and the sound of a model T in the front over bumps, but looks like a fat man is sleeping in the back...

It is a resistor. I have installed them in cars. Nothing visibly different except the inline resistor. My 2008 was the first VB mod done by IPT. They had such a hard time figuring out resistor value to trick the ECU that my resistor is outside the VB. It is in the wiring harness on thee side of the tranny. They did not want to go back in and pull the assembly again, lol.
My tranny also blew up on my third pull with OEM fueling and a BNREVO16g. So, whatever they did was useless. Total waste of $1200.
Have installed a few IPT modded VB's since and am very ashamed at what I paid for.
I've been wanting to do a 16g, but sounds like I'll wait for some options to hopefully become available here. I'm all for it. I'm holding with a stg2 and a TMIC- would love to push- but....
anyways:

What if you have a MacBook? ( and a Cobb AP)

Was at the Target on N Elston and W Logan around 11:30am/ saw a silver LGT sedan with tinted windows(darker in the back) exhaust, stock 5-spoke rims? and what looked to be a temp plate?
-
Even worse is they called from the side of the highway.
And stage 2 mods throw away any chance of warranty work.
So I have a stage 2 tune and a 5EAT- how might I avoid a post that might read: "spotted- black LGT being towed off the side of 94 with some guy crying in the cab?"
I'll get a Haydon Tru-Cool 4454 for the summer ( Infamous recommended)
and an egg under the accelerator?

Many-many thanks for posting this.
I have an 08'LGT and have recently gone to a Cobb stage 2 tune with a more free flowing air-filter and colder plugs( other supporting mods for the tune). I was out the other night and experienced the noted rough idle. I cursed the mods and thought about all the things it could be. It was also -5 out (if you haven't guessed, I live in Chicago).
I'll be getting some gaskets this weekend and thanks for the 'how to' above.
Power to BMX045( I grew up in Arlington MA- word to Btown)
