  2. how much does it cost since i may be running mine with an e85 tune i figure i better look into this.
  3. I had a bad tank of gas... last fill up was much better, and the current tank i'm on hasn't knocked but once or twice and i think it was false knock as there wasn't much load or timing on the engine at either point.
  4. load scaling/ rpm scaling... how do you have your maps scaled? what rpm points do you use, what load points do you use? (do you break it up more during spool or not? ) What points do you have your rev-limiter set at? Injector scaleing... micro seconds per gram of load for stoich fueling? why the hell would you define it that way? my avcs table stops at 4800.. at this point it should be pretty much 0ed out but should i spread it out at all later for future... larger turbos?
  5. Still on my ecutek tune and logging the snot out of it before i re-tune the car, Today it was 96 degrees, my iam dropped to .875 , the ecu is pulling 6 degrees at peak torque is this pretty normal for a hot day and a crappy inter-cooler or should i pull some timing off my tune?

  7. OBXTs have r180 rears too don't they ? (not in a ratio useful for the swap but the drive shafts from it would be)
  8. if you go after market do KStech and plan on a tune... atleast they tune well.
  9. I think its funny how most of these are recorded RIGHT next to the exhaust... A place where no one will hear them... More drive bys and interior vids please that will tell us what your exhaust sounds like to the driver and the outside world... not the imaginary guy sitting on your bumper or dragging along 3' behind the car.
  10. Everything worked but ECU flash the first time... but it may have been the same error i had the second time it just didn't log it the same way... 1.29a didn't work for me because my ecu is locked with a protune in it.. :-(
  11. Yeah on windows 7 64 bit I got everything to work by using ecu flash1.43 drivers then un installing it and putting 1.29 on. However my ecu is locked because the previous owner had it tuned.

  13. I have knock and an ecutek tune that i can't friggin change... Next time... i'm bringing romraider with me when i buy a subaru.... lol
  14. I got it to run... could you not even get it to run ? Followed by a :fail: pop up... I have no idea what it means other than i can't read the rom off my ecu ... i tried both 05-06 DBW ECU defs and this is what i got both times... :-(

  18. Aren't there some companies with 8 piston calipers etc? Is this just marketing bling? I'd really like a good qualitys set of brakes for street/trackday/autocross use. I will probably end up with stoptech or ap maybe alcon. I know I don't want willwood. Has anyone used Baer? I know a lot about materials and how brakes should work but it's hard to find data on individual kits or components.
