  1. I just solved this symptom on my car by adjusting the clutch pedal/CMC travel. There are other threads that go into detail, but in short: Slide front seat all the way back, disconnect throttle pedal connector by the gas pedal. Point phone/flashlight above. There is a CMC rod with threads and clevis connector. Using a short wrench and tiny hands, loosen the 12mm nut on back side. Using adjustable pliers, screw the rod away from the pin toward the firewall. Give it a good qarter inch change for your case. Then put back together and test drive. It completely solved the issue and restored optimal function for my case. Note: Do not turn on the car until you reconnect the throttle cable, or you'll have to clear the code. Good luck!
  2. Quiet is possible with adding an extra muffler where stock resonator lives. My 3" setup has magnaflow in its place, then a vibrant resonator before Y split, followed by prodrive mufflers. Sound is just a bit louder than stock, and two notches up at WOT. Sounds like a stock Porche

  6. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll email a dealer I've been getting my OEM parts from. As for their catalogs - they seem to be US centric, and I couldn't find parts for JDM trims. If someone knows the answer, please chime in!
  7. Similar to my question in the other thread re TY757VBABB transmission - do we know the OEM part #s for TOB/fork that are correct? How does this figure in the context of PDM TSK kits? During my swap TSK3 kit would not fit on the snout of this transmission, and OEM TOB (30502AA120) was installed instead.
  8. Bringing this back from the dead: what does this difference mean for TSK kit that would fit, and/or what is the proper OEM TOB for this transmission? I have this swap, and TSK3 kit I had wouldn't fit. 30502AA120 OEM TOB was installed instead, but it had a squeal and hard 1st/2nd gear engagement from the start. I'm wondering if I need a TOB that's better fit to correct it. Thanks!
  9. Should come through and approve you. Maybe message Darlene Lombardo and she'll take care of it
  10. Mild drop on KWs, and had zero comments two years running. Take that as you will.
  11. Free bump for prodrives that sold and me owning a 3rd hand pair. Still sound amazing!
  12. Welcome! LGT_Kyle, and any new Spec B owners - you're welcome to join the "spec. B club" on facebook. It's pretty active
  13. NTNs for $140 on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/200942016207?fbclid=IwAR08ax-QzlgqQZh15r67JM2-e91rR2SjkbqkRTrr0eZeRH-jFCJmVVx3zh8 Going 1 year strong with no issues.
  14. Reviving this from the dead. Anyone else have the issue, do the TSB, and still not solve it to find a different cause? I'm wondering if I should try to redo the TSB, or try to diagnose from a different angle. Muchos gracias
  15. Bring this this back from the dead. Trying to see which part # is correct for RR caliper for 06 GT spec B: 26692AE0418A (various descriptions say "with ventilated" 3.0 limited without GT) 26692AG062 (similarly "without ventilated" no GT exclusion) These part matching systems seem to be getting worse: in other sections they all say it fits my car, and list all legacy/outback models as "fits". Please hAlp
  16. Word, I just ordered the exedy as backup. Will probably just replace it so I don't get stranded. /facepalm
  17. Did y'all remove the damper from Exedy, too? Crossing fingers that I have better luck with new OEM piece because I literally put that sucker in few weeks ago.
  18. Subscribed since I'll be looking to wrap my stock spec B 18s with 225/45R18 for the same reasons. Although Im running Tarmac 1s and can adjust the height as needed.
  19. Not stricktly true. 05-06 models can still be tuned with opensource.
