That is a good point, however I do recall seeing top 5 cars lesbians drive and the outback was on there yet the forester was #1 no doubt I need to replace my front struts soon however I don't want to go lower than stock so I guess I'll just replace them with OEM KYB, the KYB GR2 would be an upgrade or are they the same; would it be strange to only replace the fronts with GR2 and have the rears be regular (as I replaced them about 10k ago and don't want to replace em if I don't need to)

Where would one purchase the subwoofer trunk cubby? I have 07 outback xt and to my knowledge the only OEM placement for sub woofer is under the seat, I'd prefer to unitize the rear cubby. Hey left out the most important demographic; lesbians I guess I'll just keep it stock height, until I get a second car and figure out if I want to go get it lifted or go LGT height with Konis or Blistiens. If I went the Koni route, could I use my OBXT struts and cut them to fit Koni's or would I need to find a set of LGT ones?

is there an alternative to improve suspension feel but retain ride height? Heard king springs is an option, but nothing about struts.

Question, would this work on and outback xt and still retain my original height? I found these Koni Struts and have a spare set of blown outback struts. Would love to upgrade the feel of the suspension without sacrificing the height I have over a LGT. Thanks

Wait, all the airbags are off if the light is on? I was under the impression only the ones that are affected/not connected would be duds. I never got a solid answer about this, from what I read was people put resistors when swapping seats to trick the airbag light from coming on. However my issue is now that I swapped to 08, I was going to swap the bases so the light would turn off. However even with the 07 seat back on the light stayed on... so at the point I went on the forums and came across that only the airbag that isn't connected would be the one affected. And to get the light reset I would need to go to the dealer as they are the only ones with the tool, however they said I should swap back my 07 get it reset, then disconnect the battery swap the seat back and the light won't go on... however I never got around to it, as I was under the impression only my drivers seat airbag would be affected, not the rest.

I got my letter in the mail the other day, however I've got a question about airbag light. I swapped 08 seats in my 07, since then I've had the airbag light on. Will the dealer throw a hissy fit for the light being on, and say they can't work on the car?

I honestly forget what transmission cooler I have, I want to say it's a Derale 11 x 7-1/4 x 7/8". I followed this install DIY I recently was told I could add an external thermostat, which would pretty much only open to the cooler once the fluid was a certain temp I believe like 107 I was told? While I also read there is another way to do it, where you replace the 5eat drain plug with one that senses the temperature and then opens a valve once it's at temp. I would rather just install something and not have to deal with taking it off each winter, as it doesn't get that cold that often here in CT.

Has anyone experienced in really cold weather that the car won't shift into 5th? I was headed to school this morning and car's temp was slightly below typical temp, yet the blue light had already gone away. However I was getting on the highway and switched to manual mode as I typically do and was able to change from 3rd to 4th, however even after reaching 65mph it did not indicate I was going fast enough to shift. Usually the car will shift into 5th as soon as it can… On the cluster where it displays what gear I'm in [4] there is an ^ arrow above the # to mean it's able to shift to 5th. Yet it didn't show it until about 5 minutes of driving on the highway. Would this have anything to do with having a Tranny cooler and the fluid not being warm enough to shift to 5th? Would adding a thermostat to the tranny cooler system solve this issue, or is it completely unrelated?

Why is your buddy already selling the spec B, what's wrong with it… A buddy is considering it, between a 2.5rs wrx swap that needs electrical work. He considers the spec B the back up… but if your friend didn't even have it for 2k miles makes me wonder whats wrong with it.

Near death experience that I swam out of without a scratch, subaru FTW! I came around a bend and the back slipped out, over corrected into a guard rail that gave out. Sending me into the lake not before smacking the other end of the stone bridge wall sending the car sideway perpendicular to the road. Although because I hit the bridge the window was already smashed out, allowing me to exit through the window as the car hit the water. Swam out to the top of the underside (now facing up) crawled over and hopped onto land. By the time I got to land the news photo is all that was sticking out, surprisingly the lights on the car stayed on for almost 2 hours underwater. Yea unless you've got ridiculous stance you don't get batted a second eye, curious if you had a ls or S85 swap they'd even look. It's like the subaru wave community only revolves around the FXT, WRX/STI, Spec B owners. lol, well at least the cops don't bother to look at me when I fly by, must think just another mom late to pick up their kid from soccer practice.
