Unless this is one of those weird quizzes, I would say that your issue is that your airbag is always on, the passenger 'off' is always lite, and the seatbelt...chimmer...for the passenger cycles continuously, no matter what.
What do I win?

rao was right all along

My transmission failed.
All cars are bad. I'm getting a horse.
You insane? I saw a horse get sick once and it died. You should walk.

Maybe you're ignoring the fact that ALL tunes, whether done over the web or with the tuner in the passenger seat, have an inherent risk. This is why you always sign a waiver. There are lots of situations in which people go and get a pro-tune in person and their engines blow up. So you got ONE e-tune and you had a cracked ringland, which isn't even a rare problem on Subarus, and now you're here saying that all e-tunes are bad. You should probably get some perspective before disparaging e-tunes in general. Hell, I've been semi self tuned for 5k miles with no problems but I would absolutely not recommend that everyone out there self tune and not go with a professional tuner because I heard of one story in which a professional blew up someone's engine.
-
Don't do e tunes! There junk. If your into rebuilding an engine every 2k then more power to you!
Like I would trust anyone with spelling as bad as yours

05-06: VAGCOM
07+: tactrix.
Don't let anybody tell you different. If they do, call them a doodoo head.
-
Vagcom won't help if he needs a tactrix. It's going to be at least $120. Vagcom will only work on 05-06 models

that's not a politician you f*cking twit

any pics of that grey suede?
-
Yes. Where are you?

When the stock one fails. No tune is necessary for upgrading the UP.
-
I was at stage 3 with the stock airbox and I only went with a BOV because my custom TMIC didn't allow for piping back to the inlet.
-
BOVs are completely unnecessary and detrimental to going faster. On these cars, you should start with a downpipe and then get supporting mods. Intake isn't necessary until you're putting down over 300whp, but you seem to know everything. Boone, NC: the school district that intelligence forgot.

Well the clutch lets up right off the floor miss gears wen shifting fast..mayb just my driving u deffantly have to get used to it..no1 else have this problem?? I was under the impression all subarus are like that
You obviously just don't know how to drive stick.
Ok so give me a break on the english im typing on a phone so i looked around on the intakes and turns out people are really frowning on aftermarket intakes below stage 3 so I could be wrong..I have an spt which people are also bashing but of course Subaru will tell you it's the best you can get, also says it can be used on stock tune, and claims that combined with the heat shield and spt catback can increase 30hp.. Car is running lean so I'm here trying to get my car tuned btw i did NOT blow up my car boosting everywhere in the past year without a tune..alsi how would u justify paying 1000 for mods such as a fmic for what 5hp? So what are we all doing wasting money on what is a daily driver/grocery getter for the most of us?? I'm just trying to get my car tuned and dudes wanting some mods for his new car so sure go for it!FMICs don't give you more HP, they are a supporting mod for more HP. You obviously don't know what you're talking about so let's not turn this into a situation of the blind leading the blind.

the 5speeds can be pretty tough to drive
Please explain

$250 is still a steal for all that's included

Swifts, like pinks, are designed for use with Bilstein style front top hats, but are rated at 1.2" front drop/1" rear drop vs. .6" drop F/R for the pinks. Don't run a spring that's rated for the USDM KYB-style top hats (e.g., Epics, Eibach, Rallitek, Cobb, etc.) or your front will be 1/2" to 5/8" higher due to the Bilstein top hats.
Can't you use USDM top hats on Bilstein HDs in the front to fix that issue?
-
The fix isn't under the seat, it's in the map light console.
-
Did you turn left onto Walnut from 18th St. this morning around 8:30?
-
Add me to the list of people who successfully fixed this. Added some solder to all the resistors on both sides of the board and it's working perfectly now.

maybe a bad mount - tranny or engine, or control arm causing false knock

And why, after all this time on these forums, do you have any vacuum line capable of "popping off?? That is something that should have been addressed years ago....
I had a vacuum line pop off in the middle of a full throttle run. it was the little damn blue T under the intercooler and I had to put little zip ties on until I could get worm gear clamps
