  1. I know its my responsibility, it just sucks. Don't mind me, I'm just venting. The only two people I can't vent to right now are my 4 and 1 year old and while they are good listeners, it kinda stops there.
  2. When I bought the house, my inspector didn't find any evidence of one. Its the inspector for the current buyers who noticed it. We had no clue it was there. There have been 4 owners of this house since '96 when the tank was abandoned and nobody knew about it.
  3. On a lighter note........ http://www.nj.com/passaic-county/index.ssf/2014/09/corvette_driver_parks_like_jerk_clifton_mans_revenge_goes_viral.html#incart_river
  4. Here is my random thought/rant for today. We are selling our house and are supposed to be closing this coming Monday. We had our underground oil tank (abandoned in 1996) removed yesterday. We bought the house in 2010. We were never told about the oil tank until the home inspection that the buyers had done revealed it. Our home inspector obviously sucked and never found anything so we never knew about it and it was never revealed on the deed. When they pulled the tank, they found oil underneath it.......obviously from 18 years ago. The tank was in perfect condition, filled with clean sand and gravel, and didn't show any signs of leaking. Now, my question is, how is this MY responsibility? I understand that it is my property, but, the abandonment was certified by the town and there were supposedly soil samples taken. We are now stuck with paying to clean it up, which will cost anywhere from $10,000 to I don't want to even think about it, our buyer may back out, and our new house we're buying, may get canceled. Selling this house was very stressful, and this just makes it that much more overwhelming, so thank you for letting me vent

  6. You have to remove your front wheel well liners and both side skirts. Then drill a couple holes in the side skirts and put the lights in, run the wiring and put it all back together. Not a very difficult install. I get compliments on them all the time
  7. Damn, that sounds like a really messed up situation. I've heard horror stories about buying/selling houses so I probably have it pretty good in my situation compared to others. Its still annoying though. The funny thing is that the father is not representing his son as his Realtor. He lives almost 3 hours away so he hired a local agent that he doesn't even know. She even thinks that he's getting out of hand. My Realtor is doing everything he can. He's already called the buyers agent a few times to tell her to have the father chill out.
  8. All of this house buying/selling talk is giving me a headache. I'm closing on my current house in two weeks and the problem hasn't been the buyer, its the buyers father. He's a Realtor (the first of many problems) who was sweet as pie at the beginning, then started playing games up until today and he's not letting his son have any say in this process. I finally hit my breaking point today with him nit picking the tiniest things. He wants it to be a brand new house. Not happening pal. I'm mentally drained from this whole thing and I just want it to be over. Unfortunately, we still haven't found a new house yet (which I'm sure will be another adventure) so my wife, two kids and I will be shacking up with my parents. I can't wait
  9. Thanks Joe, that's exactly the response I was looking for! I'm not worried about the issues Koni was having with the WRX fronts since, as you said, it was a few years ago and I'm sure that's a problem of the past. I was more curious about if the LGT inserts were better suited to our cars. I'll stick with the WRX setup. Thanks again!
  10. In reference to Koni inserts, I found an interesting post on the wrxforums.com forum. I'm not sure if this has been covered so if it has, please disregard. Here is the link to the website.... http://www.wrxforums.com/forums/13-subaru-wrx-suspension/13981-clarification-koni.html In the article, it mentions that the 08+ WRX inserts (8610-1453S) are physically identical to the 05-09 LGT inserts (8610-1447S) with the difference being valving. What I am wondering is.... 1. Has anyone tried this? 2. Would getting the ones made for an LGT vs WRX be more suitable for ride quality on our heavier 5th gens?
  11. It looks pretty much like that ^^ Just add a hoodscoop
  12. One of my coworkers bought a new car, which I've been driving past this whole week and didn't pay it much attention since I thought it was an Accord, then yesterday the headlights caught my attention. It's not an Accord after all.....it's a '15 Legacy. I am not impressed
  13. I like those Niche's. I was very close to pulling the trigger on them but then I came across my Enkei's
  14. It was a pull apart that we found while doing routine maintenance on our switches. I'm in the Signal Dept so we don't normally do this kind of work but they were short on Track guys so we lent a hand. It's amazing how much that rail stretches with some heat on it.
  15. Got to play a little at work tonight http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/01/ta4yzysa.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/01/a4ururuv.jpg
  16. I was so close to getting those but found my Enkei's and couldn't pass on the deal. They look great on that color!
  17. We can only work 12 hours straight and need 10 hours of rest before we start a new shift. That only applies to the Signal Dept, Conductors and Engineers. There is no limit on how many days you can work in a row, as long as you have that 10 hours of rest in between.
  18. I think I want to retrofit my fog light housings
  19. A lightning bug hit my windshield on the way home from work tonight and I saw his little butt glowing for about 5 minutes.
  20. I have a confession to make......I just drove past a Chrysler dealership and saw a 2015 200 sitting outside. Well, I'm not a fan of Chrysler products, but in the looks department, I wouldn't kick the 200 out of bed
