  1. s2baru, I found your 2015 WRX cousin in New Zealand: (pause @ 00:38 sec) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGYYzifx5oM]Subaru WRX New Zealand Product Review - YouTube[/ame]
  2. Prova would be great, but the price (ugh). I wonder if the stock 2015 WRX wheel is much cheaper though. I bet its at least $300-400. As suggested by reeg420, I will take a look @ my brother's 2015 WRX, take some pics of the mounts, back of the wheel, etc. I doubt it would be a PnP swap and the controls are fairly different, but who knows. After all the work required to get it to fit and still functon, I bet the Prova wheels would be cheaper. Where can you get it for $500? I think I recall seeing a vendor advertize them, right? http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Prova-D-Shaped-Steering-Wheel-Subaru-Legacy-2010-2011 Found some old GBs and sale threads: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/damd-steering-wheel-group-buy-05-2010-144618p9.html?highlight=prova+steering+wheel http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129004&highlight=prova+steering+wheel http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127557&highlight=prova+steering+wheel
  3. Any idea what would fit on a 2.5i or 3.6R? I'm thinking coolant and aux. hoses only since our intakes are not as elaborate as the LGTs.
  4. Painted mine semi-gloss black to go better with my upcoming engine bay color theme. Still have to pickup the extra hardware before Sunday, thx for a great list nstg8r! Post it up when you get a chance.
  5. Our main man McDowell Tuning, for example: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4766358&postcount=410
  6. We'll pull my 2010 image with Rob next weekend too, almost completing our 5th gen 3.6R set. Need a 2014 only yes?
  7. Just received mine today, so give or take 3 weeks for me. All hardware included.
  8. Small holes are typically not a concern, in fact they are often preferred. Nothing like making those small holes bigger to accomodate wider shafts.
  9. We need McDowell or Td_d to check this out Rob! Should be it!!
  10. Maybe its some type of H7 splitter for the CCFLs that works with the low-beam plug? Perhaps what they did is used the stock male H7 connector that will mate right up with the car's wiring and then the strange female connector routes power to both the low-beam and the CCFL used as a DRL? From the old Chinese links when these were first being developed, I think one of the CCFLs is used as a turn signal (which would seem to be true) - it looks like there is a socket in the turn signal location but perhaps its just for the second CCFL or any light source that's used to turn the rod amber when the turn signal is engaged.
  11. Look and sound preferance on all three, super minor nip n tuck needed on the mid pipe, just needs to be cut like 7 inches or so. Its also a good idea to add a resonator and or j pipe while here to combat the H6 drone. These CBEs were not designed with our engine in mind so they drone from a little to a lot.
  12. Nope, none. Its as PnP as you want. You don't even have to get any extra hardware (hoses, clamps, etc.) but its a good idea to swap them out as Fredrik suggested.
  13. They do, at least a C shape unit similar to the BRZ/FXT and new WRX/STI. The headlights are a new design, different from the 5th gen Legacy/Outback. 2015 BN25 / BN36
  14. I ordered one a few days ago, once its here nstg8r should help me install it! I think I'll paint it black before we start.
  15. Nope, not yet. Holding out for a bit to see what Jordan can come up with. Yep, I believe so. Rob will be able to tell exactly based on what he received.
  16. Pics or links to more pics! As reported by SPPP (Scoobie pics porn police).
  17. Would be great! Can you email Jordan and stop by? He will know about this because we discussed the idea. See what else he can fab' up for us... maybe some nice covers, shrouds for under the hood? A new intake tract from the grill to the stock airbox? 18. Thanks, I was curious if you were familiar with the mother company since you're from RSA.
  19. Hey Rob, yes if Rhett shares his cables with me or I finally get a confirm for a retune date from Visconti.
  20. Td_d are you familiar and/or affiliated with Dastek in any way? I have yet to pull my stock rom for you, but will do so for sure.
  21. I want! Awesome work nstg8r. On the site where you pick it up, I see 2 options, with and without installation hardware. I'm assuming its safe to get the one withOUT the hardware, since you've found replacements for everything I can think of work better, yes?
  22. Yep, nice point nstg8r. And if you a. drive less and b. bundle in some of the same-as-cash and 6-10c off/gallon if you buy 50-100 per month plans that the big brands provide on their credit cards - that difference becomes even less pronounced. I've filled up with 93 for almost a year now since the first tune and haven't spent much more on gas vs the year prior (no tune - usually 89, sometimes 87). The other side of the coin is that with a tune like ItalianLegacy has, the extra torque alone throughout the power band and the leaned out AFR should result in a MPG increase with normal driving. Racecar mode will probably dip into single digits but mixed and especially highway driving should net slightly better MPGs vs stock. Again offsetting the cost of 91/93 a bit.
  23. Yep, a 89-octane map would be a nice compromise between the two. We could have a bit more power/torque, but more importantly DBW tweaks, optimized fuel/ignition/cam timing maps, re-calibrated MAF (if needed, say with aFe Takeda or other intakes). Shift points might be tricky (TCM/TCU comes into play rather than pure ECU tuning). 93 is only required (as was the aFE intake) to provide enough knock protection and extra air to dial in slightly more aggressive settings that result in the whp/wtq numbers we're seeing. Its a compromise, yes, but with great drivability and a safe tune.
