I'm thinking about selling my 2006 LGT Spec B, wanted to get a feel to see if there's any interest. The car is great, but I have the chance to buy a friend's car and may want to jump on it. The wife won't let me have three cars, and I'm keeping my Miata. I would consider parting it, but need stock parts in trade - there's a tipping point somewhere, maybe if I can find buyers for the Brembos, exhaust, wheels, and IC then I'll part the whole thing and go stock.
It's an 06 Spec B and has 101,500, modded with:
SPT exhaust V.2
Brembo brakes
K&N intake
Perrin Top mount intercooler
Cobb catted dp
Turboxs up pipe
Cusco rear sway
cusco h brace
Swift lowering springs
RavSpec front lip
RBS grill
Cobb Accessport, Tuned by TDC
Rota Tarmac 2's with almost new Conti Sport DWS
JL CleanSweep
Alpine 4ch amp with MBQuart Speakers all around
Apline monoblock powering Eclipse 12 Inch sub
Please let me know if you're interested in the car I'll send some pics. Price is up in the air; to sell it as-is I'd have to get decent $$ for it; to part it out, I'd like to quickly find buyers for most of the aftermarket goodies.
Thanks,
Jeff
Interested in springs, tires wheels brakes and a few other items. Where ya located. I have stock stuff to go too

Anyone with some wheels/tires?
-
I'm not 100% but I do believe that the tbss is RWD only.. even a awd/4wd v8 in a tb is a super tight fit
-
Looking for a set of tires and wheels, 2005 LGT
what have ya got?

wonder if he really came from nasioc.... jk. I say go for it man. Its your car, and Im sure there are some buick forums that will be able to help you out on this adventure. might want to check with sl-i.net and legacycentral.org , search for "H6 swap" on those. some kids there took their 2.2's-2.5's for the H63.3 (svx) and the newer/older H63.0 (outbacks). thought about doing something like this with an older (91) legacy wagon. I wanted to put an inline 4 cummins'. after looking at the info on parts etc I came to realize something about subarus... they are awd with a boxer. the suspension, engine mounts, physical structure/stability of the car is designed for the origional engine. primarily with the suspension. it is not out of the realm of posability, they did make an LS1 powered Legacy GT. RWD of course. I googles it.
Just curious why you would do a 4bt?
Really wouldnt think it to be very benficial.
Depending ofcourse on your direction for the build

uh oh.. I see a small buisiness forming.. Hmmm....
-
Probably easier to just find a wrecked Porsche with an H6...
And it would already be turbo.
Obviously would need a custom engine-trans adapter plate.
Umm and some serous $$$.. Even wrecked the turbo Porsches are pretty pricey
Overall for $$$ per HP Frank went the right way, next would be an LS motor.
-
ok, I was watching the tach( which I know hangs on you), the speedo and hearing the shifts.. It was just hard to tell with the audio..
Can it be adjusted or did you set it up to save the trans
-
Is the trans slipping?
-
YAYYYYY
IC tubes!!!!
-
That would be priceless... love to see that.. Leave the charge pipes off too, that will likely be the only thing they notice..lol
-
ok, i know i say it alot.. But you still havent hooked up the turbo to intake ( atleast it doesnt look it) Id like to see how it will all fit. I see the front mount, how does that run to the out of the turbo then to the inlet of intake?
-
If the ECU is tuned for boost that will cause idle and overall run issues as the A/F ratios will be a mess, even at idle..
-
Might help too if the turbo was connected to the intake
-
Dog looks as confused as us...lol
-
what turbo ?
going to be in the same place as i had the holset on 2.5 in stock location but twisted.
I just need to make the up pipes. having some laser cut peices made for flanges.
next step is mount the rad and power steering and altenator.
I saw the front mount, but in previous pics/vids didnt not see a turbo, thats why I asked... Is there gonna be enough room with the heads AND exhaust squeezing into a small area
-
Still a bit of fuel issues?
Where did you put the turbo?
-
Wheres the Turbo?
-
Looking for Pillowball bushings for the front and a set of struts, 2005 Wagon LGT..
Not in the best financial spot but my bushings are shot and dtruts arent far off , so I can justify and upgrade...
Thanks

Meh. pointless. Wire is wire more or less. Yes a thicker gauge will have a greater loss over distance... and a thinner wont be able to carry as many volts/amps without metling.
But as I said. Similar wire size. and connect them well. use dialectric grease even to help contact.
You are way wrong on your statement ...
Larger wire guage has less resistance over a given distance.
Wire is not wire, smaller wire. Copper and alluminum or stainless, copper clad they are all different. You never want to take a larger wire to a load fed from a I.E a circuit fed with a #12 wire to a distribution block, then branched with #10 or larger, thats a no-no.

thats stupid. just buy a gnx or regal turbo
Its only that way when you can do it..
Sounds pretty neat and $$$ to power will be a lot less( especially if you can do it yourself)
