This is for the Indiana guys. It has to be someone on here because I got a wave. Over on IN-28 between Tipton and Elwood, I saw a QSM LGT with an aftermarket grille with no badge. Didn't get a good look at wheels or anything else.

This one's a long shot, but red 05 or 06 at McCutcheon High School in the staff parking lot in Lafayette...

No clue. I think he went over a curb when he was driving it in the snow this winter, because the bottom of the bumper is cracked too. And when he went over the curb, it put enough upward pressure on it to break it off. So I would have to replace the entire airbox to re-attach the silencer.
Since I don't feel like spending $400 on an OEM one, I'm probably just going to wait until I go stage 2 and replace it with a short ram or cai.

I didn't have much choice. I let my brother borrow my car and he did something that broke the silencer off. I took apart the airbox and found that the silencer was just sitting in the smuggler's compartment being useless, so I took it out. No problems so far.

I think this will forever be debated. Some will swear it causes problems others (myself included) have been without it for a little while with no ill effects. Until someone posts actual dyno and data results, this won't be resolved. The hole is before the filter, so you shouldn't have to worry about sucking up any large rocks or anything, but putting some sort of mesh screen is probably a good idea.
As far as being louder, someone posted in one of the other threads about the intake silencer removal that capping it eliminates or decreases the added noise. It is speculated that the intake is louder because the air resonates in the entire "smuggler's compartment" instead of just the jug, so capping it will quiet it down again, at which point, you may as well just leave the silencer on.

Does this count? Not blingin rims, but still a lifted subie

^ not gonna lie, I think it would be sweet to have an old school impala on the gold hundred spokes and some hydros. Not to cruise to work in every day, but to take out on a weekend cruise when the weather is nice.

Sorry if its a repost, but I don't remember seeing it on here, but its former Arkansas, now Oakland Raiders, running back Darren McFadden's donk.http://cache.deadspin.com/assets/resources/2008/05/mcfaddencar.jpg

That video is ridiculous.
I think its funny that they were driving on the sidewalks, stupid but funny. No one could have been hurt because no one is stupid enough to walk along the streets of Gary.

I keep wanting to post my spotteds in here, but a lot of locals drive subies because the plant in town assembles the Legacys. I've seen OBP, DGM, and RBP ones around the Lafayette, IN area, but haven't seen anyone on these boards from the area. If any of those are you, I'm the one driving the DGM with a diy grill and silver badges.
