priorities

Wagon has 240k mi (140k mi tuned stage 2, only one cat left). I Seafoam before every other 3k mi OCI. Replaced the (now sole) O2 sensor once since tuned. Failure was not proximal to Seafoaming. Never had an issue. Except for Seafoam testimonials, I feel that most additives are snake oil. Adequately designed studies are rare. The BG Chemtool claims are true that it dissolved polystyrene - it's got acetone in it! Duh!

On the DD wagon today. Original block. New turbo at 98k, under warranty. Tuned S2 for last 139k. HexMod 5EAT for at least 100k. All 4 wheel bearings replaced at varied intervals. New gas tank last week. Prop shaft and radiator 3 years ago. Rust starting on rear wheel quarters. OCI 3k, T6 Roki filter. Top off .5 quart/1k mi. Still shiny. Still pulls hard. No smoke. DWS Extreme year round. So only 55k on spec b.....

Got the wagon back with leaking fuel tank replaced; new rear brake calipers (seized), rotors and pads. They undercoated the tank before installation and along with most of the underbody. They also replaced the corroded brake lines (while tank was out, pictures were provided) subsequent to the recall where the dealer said were fine but applied anti-corrosion sauce... Then I replaced the HVAC blower that seized and was full of pine needles...followed by a well deserved wash and speed wax. Hoping to get more miles on the 239+ k mi RBP wagon.
