  1. The 245/40 R18s, crap tires, are harsher than the winters 225/45 on the 18x7.5 OEM rims. It's a small difference in profile height but a big difference in ride comfort. Once the Bilsteins arrive, I'll consider skinning with 245/45 R18s
  2. Car rarely hits the bump stops. However, the OEM struts/shocks can't slow the rebound of the compressed spring. More sidewall makes a difference as well. With smaller sidewalls, the ride will be more jarring.
  3. so the GT looks the same, it just has a scoop... yes, lol
  4. Well, first raise the engine to gain clearance... in other words it's not the simplest.
  5. Send a PM to Myles @ RCE. The RSBs should be in stock.... It is a hollow RSB that is the equiv of 22.5mm solid. Pic of FSBs from April awaiting pinting http://rcephotos.com/photos/var/albums/album101/LGTfrontswayswaiting.jpg
  6. Whoa. Déjà vu. [Everyone freezes right in their tracks] Trinity: What did you just say? Neo: Nothing. Just had a little déjà vu. Trinity: What did you see? Cypher: What happened? Neo: A black cat went past us, and then another that looked just like it. Trinity: How much like it? Was it the same cat? Neo: It might have been. I'm not sure. Morpheus: Switch! Apoc! Neo: What is it? Trinity: A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.
  7. The 5th gens are all over the map. 214 HP is also posted for stock baseline.
  8. It's always fun to see the bitching over the posted numbers. :spin: The delta from stock thru each of the mods is the best comparison of importance. Op is posting nice gains for his car. Axlebacks adds are substantial, and the OP also has a 3" DP. Below is an example of same car, stock to axlebacks. http://www.efilogics.com/dyno/graph.php?gb=0&hp=1&torque=1&rpm=1&sl=1&sln=1&runid1=1075&rgb1=000000255&runid2=1076&rgb2=204000000 The next, different car is stock, to Stage I, to Stage II. http://www.efilogics.com/dyno/graph.php?gb=0&hp=1&torque=1&rpm=1&sl=1&sln=1&runid1=1121&rgb1=000000255&runid2=1122&rgb2=204000000&runid3=1296&rgb3=000153000 IGNORING ALL TOP NUMBERS AND LOOKING AT THE DELTAS GAINS ...... is show form stock to Stage I and Stage I to stage II. From the several tunes with the Rx TMIC posted from Stage II to Stage II+, the TMIC is consistently delivering 18-24 HP gains across the board above Stage II. Add 20 HP to the second chart below, for delta to Stage II and this is about what to expect with the TMIC. http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=547&pictureid=4881http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=547&pictureid=4879
  9. Different 5th n 4th gens, same dyno http://www.efilogics.com/dyno/graph.php?gb=0&hp=1&torque=1&rpm=1&sl=1&sln=1&runid1=1122&rgb1=000000255&runid2=796&rgb2=204000000&runid3=504&rgb3=000153000&runid4=1119&rgb4=153000255
  10. the ap reads the codes. search for christmas tree lights. Will go.into specifics to reset the display. Insert key, rotate to ON (dont start car), wait ten seconds, rotate to OFF. Repeat three times. this more than likely clears the cel from the ecu. Your call to clear or see if it clears after driving a bit. did you change the air filter lately and was it crapped up? Do you have an oiled filter? If the maf has gotten dirty, perhaps it threw a cel. Check gas cap. Good luck.
  11. Passed a GGM 10+ LGT in the wild this afternoon. In RI by intersection of RT1 and 138.
  12. ripp3r - you will now need some RA flaps with this offset. They really compliment the +35 offset. Running RCE Black and have never rubbed. Paired with the RCE Bilstiens there will be more average clearance than OEM. http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=944&pictureid=5633
