  1. thanks for the info. Any side effects?
  2. Yeah. I've been riding mostly in the desert and in the Rockies. So this was not an issue; until I began riding in France and I got like 4 ticks on me . Now that I am living in MD, I want to go riding but a bit 'scared' of these nasty little insects..
  3. Are you 'afraid' of ticks in your area? Currently living in MD and will be hitting the trails soon for the first time.. I hate ticks
  4. You should look into the feedback sport bike stand like this one http://www.backcountry.com/feedback-sports-sport-mechanic-bicycle-repair-stand?CMP_SKU=USS0006&MER=0406&skid=USS0006-ONECOL-ONESIZ&CMP_ID=PLA_GOt001&mv_pc=r101&mr:trackingCode=F90E18EF-E0CE-E211-AFFE-BC305BF82376&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=t&mr:adType=pla&mr:ad=46794422625&mr:keyword=&mr:match=&mr:filter=68396522505&mkwid=sqZT17OMV_dt|pcrid|46794422625&gclid=CLawntWkm74CFVJnOgodc3oAHA. They are affordable and of great quality. I've been using one for the past five years and it's been awesome.
  5. Yep I bought the AK37 Parktool toolbox about 5 years ago. I am glad I did .
  6. Then it sounds like there are more areas of 80mph speed limit. Yeah I would love to buy the Yakima hold up hitch bike rack but MAN, they are pricey..
  7. Did they extend those 80mph stretches on I15? While I was there, I avoided even 75 mph, I was getting depressed when I was seeing 19 mpg with the bikes on top and gears in car .
  8. But I bet your fuel mileage gets hit pretty bad. At least mine does with two big rigs on top.
  9. Very nice. Please keep us posted on progress. I still have to do that mod too.
  10. Yeah let us know how it goes. If it works great on the long run, then I'll remember this method (had to buy 8 new buckets last year ).
  11. I already did . Now onto the fresh and crispy baguette
  12. Bump for a good and honest LGT forum vendor . Man I remember just 1.5 years ago when you 'just had' like 800 posts or something. Now 8000+. Talk about a Subaru addict .
  13. ^Nice pic! It's amazing how much stuff we can haul in our cars. I've just rented a 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee fully loaded. While the car was nice, somehow it felt like our wagon has a larger trunk..
  14. Are spark plugs new? IMHO, if timing was messed up, it would affect the whole bank and not just one cylinder. Technically, it is possible to check valve clearance with the engine in. It may be time for a compression/ leak down tests. You can also let the car idle, open the oil cap and see if smoke comes out pulsing, then ringland issue .
  15. I am assuming CEL is for cylinder #1 (or #4?). Assuming it is for #1 and since you have brand new injector in there, next step is to swap coils between #1 and #3. See if misfire follows. If not, same job with spark plugs or put brand new spark plugs all around. See what happens. If it stays in #1, well then compression and leak down tests. In my case, I did all this troubleshooting and my misfire remained in the same cylinder (#4). Ended up being bad valve clearance.
