  2. VLEDS got installed while doing oil change at local Toyota dealership. Like them so far. Still on the fence if I should go with LED fog lights from Ford.
  3. Is it the same recommendation for GT? Stick with OEM? About to do mine.
  4. Installed LED low beams from VLEDS. Still debating whether to jump on ford LED foglights. Comes out to be a $300 investment..
  5. If you do not have fog light kit installed, here is what you will need (p/n's for 2010 model): - Left and Right fog light bezels (57731AJ19A & 57731AJ20A) - Fog light switch (H4510AJ000) - Relay (82501AG05) - Nut x2 (902510034) - Bolt x2 (901000344) - Fog lights (FR3Z-15200-A) General instructions link Did I miss anything?
  6. Anybody know the part numbers for the screws and clips that come with this kit? (H451SAJ000)
  7. Is there a verified kit from Rigid or Baja Designs that would work with our cars?
  8. $250 - Compustar 2-way remote start system with install at Best Buy. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/518468
  9. - Invidia downpipe installed (catted). What is the quietest aftermarket muffler option? - Clutch damper deleted. - Looking for good LED headlights. Getting tired of changing bulbs.
  10. Brentuning is planning to do compression test. Oil changes is a good point. How soon do berings/pistons fail and how expensive is the fix? I have AP and I believe I am on Stage 1 right now. Noticeable difference. I am doing Invidia catted downpipe. Would I need to go all the way to the back? Want to keep it quite as it is my daily ride. Also, is fuel pump upgrade a must?
  11. Decided it might be time to add some power. Called Brentuning. They suggested going downpipe + boost controller + dyno. Said will need to test the engine for reliability, may need new spark plugs, mf sensor. Total rough estimate is $2500 with dyno tune. Decided to install downpipe at the local performance shop instead. Guy there said that I may need to upgrade fuel system for power gains. Then was almost talking me out of power mods unless I am ready to deal with engine problems. Said that even with modest power increases internal parts are known to fail (pistons/rods?). Clean, experienced shop, but was he just trying to see how committed I am? My car does have 130kmi. In any case, ordered Invidia Catted Downpipe. Will be installing it this friday along with clutch damper delete. TLDR: Ordered Invidia Catted Downpipe
  12. Brought my car back to the tire shop and they fixed it in 5min. Happy camper.
  13. Replaced front passenger TPMS at a local tire shop. After 30mi+ drive the light is still on.
  14. I've had Perrin bushing installed about a year ago..
  15. Brought my GT to a dealer for an EPB recall. My shifter has been a bit loose so I asked them to take a look at it. (about 1/2in travel forward/backwards) "Shifter is a little looser than normal, shifter linkage bushings are worn and it seems like the syncros in transmission are going cause its harder than normal to get into gear - recommend replace shifter first to see if it helps" ... to the tune of $636.88. Seems a bit steep. Any thoughts? Can bushings be replaced without a shifter swap? I have the following items installed: Boomba SSP, Perrin shift bushing, Perrin shifter stop. Car has 130Kmi.
  16. Hate changing headlight bubs on 5th gen. And on my 2.5i they burn out quite frequently.
  17. Just ordered Eibach springs. They still have them @ $106. Said the warehouse is shut down until the end of the month so they will be shipped in the beginning of January. Asked how many they have in stock, they said 33 more. Now I need a discount on Konis.
  18. Hm, so when I call them, do I just say the make/model of my car? Or do I have to know which springs specifically? I am new to this stuff.
  19. How much ride height drop do Eibachs offer? Springs/shocks are on my to-do list and i am wondering if I should buy these now.
  20. Oh dang did not notice that. Yes, to me it was worth it. The issue is gone for extra $30.
