  1. Ok good, I've seen worse but was hoping in this case it was just out of view. Pocono Pines eh? I'm over in Albrightsville a couple times per winter. That's when I'm looking for more ground clearance. http://inlinethumb13.webshots.com/45644/2431625760052327601S600x600Q85.jpg
  2. Please tell me you are not using the factory jack like a jack stand
  3. Thurs or Friday on 684 North, closing in on 84E ramp, white 05-07 debadged trunk, looked stock otherwise.
  4. I believe that last one is saying using the headphone port, which is what I am attempting to use.
  5. Iphone question. The Aux in works great playing music from "Ipod" and streaming music apps. Iphone will play phonecall through headphones Combine those two thoughts and it does not seem to play phonecalls through the Aux in & car speakers? (yes I realize the microphone would still be the phone itself)
  6. silver 05-07, front mount, tinted windows & tails. Newtown road, Danbury ~1:30 today
  7. Ok but it COULD be plug & play... so where can I get one (don't know what to call it to look for one).
  8. Interesting... where did you get that, and would it not work just plugging USB into a car charger adapter and headphone into the aux-in? Not sure what you mean by spliced... http://www.inki1.com/wj_admin/upfile2/tupian/923200867143729.jpg
  9. As you can tell was not best driving conditions (more the drivers than the weather/road) so I couldn't really inspect but wonder if there is ski/board gear on or inside it too
  10. Not sure if it was a GT or not, but was not an outback. Mass plates but on 287 in NY Friday... guess the wagon is slightly useful.
  11. I think there were 2 connectors, and separate spring clips? Your directions show the connectors (I put orange box around).
  12. Do you have pics of where the switch is installed? Still contemplating where I want mine, sounds like you may have yours where I was thinking... the vertical trim to the left of the shifter, near the ebrake boot. Quick diagram, obviously the trim not the seat itself like my very technical diagram looks. I had the amp turn off switch in the same place in my Ranger, easily accessible without accidentally hit, and mostly hidden (I prefer clean setups)
  13. There are a few different connections, the faceplate goes on with snaps around the edges & 6 screws.
  14. Works nicely, install was relatively easy. Although I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Subaru installer that taped the excess wire for the hazard switch, had some monkey action to get it out and the finger slices to prove it. Was not happy when I got it out and saw there was a loop of extra length taped together. I just need to decide where I want to mount the switch.
  15. They're flat/textured rather than shiny gloss black? Sorry for the questions trying to decide what to do myself and since you have the pics to help me make the decision...
  16. Sounds poser to me, whats next an electric BOV speaker? Just kidding BTW, what flaps are you running on yours, need to pickup a set so my RBP doesn't get as white from the trips to Jay & back.
  17. Well a ski-rack is for function over looks. Confused by your description of skis in car though, my 05 has the fold down armrest for ski passthrough, your 06 does not? Honestly, I prefer not having to put my gear on the roof if there is room in the vehicle. That being said I'm still trying to see if my old rack will work on my legacy or if I can find a good deal on one for the LGT.
  18. Best place for pow & trees, plus the drive keeps a lot of the fake skiiers/boarders away
  19. Jay cold & windy? Never! Still my favorite was up there a few days early Dec.
  20. Ah, it sent me a postal number via email, just assumed it would give some detailed info. Thanks for the info on the length, glad I asked I was thinking 6foot should be enough to the armrest but guess not. I'll grab a 12' I'd rather have extra than not enough (my truck I could pass it out the back sliding window for when sitting in the bed)
  21. The Canada post number does not give any info, but it came in today so I was pleasantly surprised! What length 3.5 do you usually run?
  22. Well I ordered one, remembered I have a 6+ hour one way drive coming up on the 10th, might get lucky and have it in time? I helped a friend with a similiar issue with an aftermarket stereo, it ended up being a bad factory ground that was exacerbated by the aux input. Hope you can get it sorted out, and hope I don't have the same issue
  23. I tend to over analyze purchases, make sure I have a full plan and know all the pitfalls/speedbumps. My last vehicle setup was a lot of planning, but went very smoothly in build/install and people were shocked by sound quality and visual appearance, especially considering the investment made. Right now your product is leading for my aux-in requirement, just doublechecking I had not missed anything.
  24. I see a lot of good reviews, any complaints?
