Always nice to hear a more experienced member say no worries. The left (more jaggad) image is cruise and right is non-curise. Being new to this tuning game, I wish Subaru had kept it like the 05 and not added the table to split the timing. I really have no idea when the transition takes place. My guess would be somewhere along the lines of closed/open loop. The table properties don't really explain when each table is used. I wonder if there would be any harm in putting the same values in each table? I'll have to do some more searching to see what I can find. It is probably save to assume that if I do any wot tuning that I'd adjust the non-cruise table. It does feel weird, not a stutter or hesitation, but like I can feel the timing being adjusted. I need to look back at my stock rom and see if timing is set that way. When I get more comfortable with things, I'll probably try smoothing that out. Thanks for the responses.

Attached is a log of my drive in on the highway this morning. I've identified the knock events that, based on context, seem to be cruise knock to me in the "knock" column with the letter "a". I've also attached screenshots of my cruise and non-cruise total timing. What do you think, cruise knock, or something I should be worried about? Oh, I should also mention I'm running an ERZ catless downpipe, the 08 spec.B stage 2 tune from RomRaider, and am otherwise stock. Thanks, Andy romraiderlog_20100525_075320.csv

Something I've noticed as I've reset my ECU a few times this past week is that knocksum does not show as much cruise knock when IAM is at .5 right after the flash before going up to 1.0. It usually takes me about 5-10 minutes of driving before I can go wot and get IAM back to 1.0. While cruising on that same road, when IAM is 1.0, I can get up to 15 knock events shown in knocksum. However, when IAM is .5, I get less than 5. I wonder if some of my cruise knock is real. I'm running MickeyD's stage 2 map from RomRaider and haven't touched timing yet. Maybe when I get my 5th gear wot logs cleaned up, I'll look into this more.

Just found this on iwsti. It is another inexpensive method to run multiple wheel sets without having to go to the dealer for tpms. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gr-tires-wheels/181023-tpms-reset-tool.html I wish I would have known this a month ago. I would have ordered the sensors with my winter wheels from tirerack. Next time I replace the snow tires, I'll make sure to have sensors installed.

That's what I've been told, and I really hope it is true. My knocksum in romraider increments every time I touch the accelerator. I'm tired of this car and taking up Shamar's time, so I'm going back to stock for the winter. Next summer, I'm going to try to see if Russ can fab me up a header system like the '10 LGT and eliminate the UP that works with itsme's FMIC. I'm in love with the graphs of that spool. I'm also hoping I'll be able to use a more common style of turbo with that setup. I'll try to get a custom tune/learn to tune myself after that.

Got the logs yet? When are you and qikslvr planning on getting together? I would like to tag along if you guys wouldn't mind. Might be able to learn something.
