  1. I'm sure the answers are on here somewhere but I don't personally know. Some day I'd love to add LSD and DCCD to my spec.B. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  2. I'm confused. Didn't SBT link to a front LSD? Isn't the DCCD for the center diff? How do the two relate? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  3. Yea, daycare is great except for the colds (I got hand foot and mouth from him last fall, WTF?!?). My son has his own fan club there. Whenever I drop him off, the preschool girls excitedly call out his name.
  4. For his first birthday, we gave my son a Lightning McQueen car that he can push around while he's learning to walk (can sit and ride on too once his legs get long enough). He's been playing with it almost non stop for the last month. The steering wheel has various buttons with Cars sayings. As he was pushing it today, he was saying "Go go go!". First time I've heard him copy an electronic toy. So cool.
  5. I'm pretty sure I've hit all the options, and I haven't seen it.
  6. I do very much enjoy mine as well. I do have a feature request. I like the peak boost recall, but the boost plot doesn't do much for me. It would be nice to have a peak (rich) AFR recall at the same time as the boost recall. If peak isn't within the range called for by the OL fueling table, that could indicate a problem to log.
  7. I survived the my one year old's first two nights away from mom. Sunday night was rough, he screamed for four hours. I felt like I was going to die Monday morning at work. Last night was much better. He only got up once at 4:30. I can't wait for my wife to get back this afternoon.
  8. Got my new sending unit and PLX wideband installed this weekend and everything works great! Thank you so much for supporting the PLX. Why oh why to these forums ever recommend Innovate? The PLX install was cake compared to the rats nest of wires I removed while pulling out the dead LC-1 (2nd time I've killed an LC-1, 3rd wb02 sensor). The PLX also warms and is ready to go much quicker than the LC-1.
  9. ...and now the gauge won't turn on today. The fuse is good. Connections are tight. Is my car telling me it is time for something new? I PM'd Andy.
  10. Great. Thanks! I just ordered the PLX unit from Amazon and the splitter, 6' cable, and 3.5mm to USB from gtboostgauge. After 3 burned sensors in 4 years and hours upon hours of frustration that I no longer have time for after having a child, I'm done with Innovate.
  11. Got this installed over the weekend. The gauge is great. I did have one issue on the commute this morning, the top button locked up. Later in the drive, it unlocked, so it must have done its recalibration thing. Unfortunately, my LC-1 (coincidentally?) crapped out right after install. I consistently get error code 8 a couple minutes into the drive (sensor will warm up, read correctly for a minute or two, and then error out). I would frequently get error 8 when I first got the LC-1 before downgrading firmware from 1.10 to 1.00a, and it was solid on 100.a for two years. I've read that the beta 1.2 firmware fixes this issue, but I can't get LM Programmer to update the firmware; it says "Can't access device" every time I try to update. So, my question is, since I'm done with Innovate after all the LC-1 issues, what wbO2 should I get now? I remember reading that the PLX and 14.7 NAW S7 are compatible. I'd prefer the 14.7 since it uses the analog out, but they aren't sold any more. So, for those of you running this with PLX, how do you log your wideband in RomRaider if you have the serial output plugged into the VBG1?
  12. Finally got one of these ordered. I can't wait to install it!
  13. You may have a similar issue, but this thread is specifically for the 07-09. The 05-06 have different gaskets.
  14. Excellent post! I assume VDC is a fairly calibrated system. I do wonder how the change in volume would impact it. Who will be the first to do this with VDC?
  15. The part number in the OP is correct for the 07-09 cars. I can't comment on if it can be used for the 05-06 ones. I do know that the original part for 05-06 was different than the original part for 07-09.
  16. Your info says you have an 06, which uses a different gasket than the 07-09 in this thread. Still may help with the problem. Good luck!
  17. Boost leak? Ooh, is your FPR line still connected to the manifold and FPR? Those things have a tendency to pop off if not properly secured. This would be my first guess. If the tune was fine for 2 months and now the car runs like crap, it sounds like it isn't the tune and should be something mechanical. Then again, you were tuned the winter and now e85 is switching to summer blend which requires more fuel, so that could be it.
  18. Yea, it takes some thought, but so do any mods. It really isn't that hard. Most running it here just run it all year round. I haven't ran 91 since a tuning experiment in December.
  19. Excellent write up! The purpose of replacing the fuel pump is to provide more fuel for larger injectors.
  20. Till the low fuel light comes on. I try to drive a bit more after that, but that's really all you need. I had a shop tell me that they actually pull the drain plug on the tank and drain out all the old fuel. That is unnecessary and wasteful. Most gasoline I've seen at the pump is an ethanol blend anyway, so I see no problem mixing a bit more. Besides, you're going to have some leftover gasoline in the lines anyway even if you completely dump the tank. The low fuel light comes on at 2.5 gallons. Premium here is 10% ethanol. The fuel tank capacity is what, 15 gallons? So 2.5@90% and 12.5@15% becomes 4.125 gallons gasoline and 10.875 gallons ethanol, e72.5. 85% less ethanol than e85. There's a thread where Legend shows that you can successfully run the same tune for both summer (e85) and winter (e70) blends because the ECU can easily correct for ARF swings of 25% in closed loop. Make sure to watch your idle AFR after initial start and not drive until they come back in (usually around 5 seconds for me). Then, periodically check the tune and pull Learning Views to make sure all is still well. Stay out of open loop until Learning View shows AFR D is dialed in. After that, your next tank of e85 will be much closer to ideal. I'd recommend getting your injectors scaled on the second tank (assuming your MAF was well scaled before). Then again check the tune and you're good to go.
  21. Thanks. I saw that it specifically said pre-air pump, so I was thinking that was for the older cars and the routing was different for the ones equipped with the air pump.
  22. Any pics of the AVCS line for 07+ LGTs with the air pump? I bought Hicksta's. I should be able to figure it out, but pics for pre-research are always appreciated.
