Ah, yeah, could be ram, probably something pre-post, if there is some way to hook up a speaker, or it has one onboard you can enable, that'll probably tell you whats up (with the beeps)

nemo - could be processor, do you have a PC speaker on it to listen for beeps?, Try reseating the ram / cpu / video card.

Did you ask what the warranty on the ECM was when you talked to SOA? I was told that it was 8 years.

Call SOA, Lagacy GT - replace the relay your self, take it in and note that the ECM is 'acting up', they'll see the issue and should warranty it, if not call SOA.

I have a cheapo lillipute 7" which works fine in the sun. It's all about the angle it's set into the bezel.

One thing to note - ECM is warrantied for 8 years or 300k miles or something nuts like that.

I've actually found that you can stick the GPS onto the under side of the arm rest, it works right through the plastic and because it's low, and in the center of the car below the sun roof, it still works extremely well. As well as getting it out of sight so the car maintains the stock look.

Yeah, if wifi is available, and hey if you're road tripping with friends you can always tether off one of their phones as well. My carpc is a laptop with bluetooth and wifi which I tether via wifi to my smart phone.

tethering through T-Mobile I've had no problems with a constant connection. It slows and lags from time to time but overall it's pretty good. Good enough to listen to internet radio.

Probably just a skin for riderunner. I like elite for mine.

You might have to scrap that monitor and go with something that actually fits out side the bezel. The mp3car guys have gone through just about every monitor you can think of and have measured the actually screen size out side the bezel to get an idea of the actual size.
