    Quotes???

Though the people support the government; the government should not support the people. - President Grover Cleveland
  2. You inspire people to get banned =)
  3. Why hasn't

    SCHM1AN

    made any friends? =)

  4. Yeah they should cover it, as the relay replacement was no guarantee against ECM failure due to overload. If anything you could claim they replaced it incorrectly which resulted in further issues later on (now)
  5. hehe they look like hot wheels

Why not just trade for one here? Or sell it with trade. The stock cubby should work pretty good.
  7. Keep calling soa until you get someone willing to help. I seem to recall it was 8 year 300,000 mile warranty on the ECM.
  8. Yes if the relay is toast you will experience about that much additional load. Also you should not have any issues with having the ecu replaced, just make sure you unmarry the AP prior to bringing it in, as you likely won't have a chance to do it after they've pulled it from the car.
  9. WTF is wrong with the culture that would allow this, or even think it's ok.
  10. if the dealer gives you a hard time then call SOA. Chances are they won't though.
  11. I wonder if that's one of those Mary-Kay give away cars.

This is why I went with a laptop as well. They're generally built for hard knocks. Verses your standard PC parts which aren't. Plus a cheap laptop can be had off craigslist, it doesn't have to be powerful for what you'll use it for, and it comes with it's own battery backup

Same here. I'm actually using an alarm bell timer to turn it on (electronic) Packed into the same hard case as the 12v inverter
  14. Replace the relay, chances are the fan will continue to run Nah they won't. In fact, when I had the issue I took it in, told them to CALL ME before they did ANYTHING short of basic diagnostic work, knowing full well that I would have to unmarry the AP from the ECM. Next the stupid dealership didn't call me, replaced the ECM, and had to reinstall the bad ECM for me to unmarry the AP, then reinstall the good ECM again. *nods*
  15. If the fan is on the second you start the car, and you have your A/C off, then yes, likely the relay issue a) Yes, good chance b) No
  16. I haven't looked on pirates in a while, where?
  17. Nice, They're actually really easy to replace, they reside right below the passenger foot well, just pull the carpet back and you'll see panel for it, regarding cloning it over though - I'm not sure if anything special has to actually happen.

I mounted mine right under the passenger seat, the plus there is that in the summer time it gets cool air blown on it, and in the winter warm air. For a shitty ass compaq it's been actually, very stable.

I'm still glad that I decided to just use a laptop. That was an extremely simple solution and if the thing fails, I can take it out and work on it, or better, replace it at the drop of a hat.
