  1. Thank You for the compliments.

Yes, we do get a lot of compliments especially when she is all cleaned up.

We specifically picked and looked for this color for a while because of its looks and how uncommon it is. I don't think I have seen another sedan on the road in this color in Seattle area so far.

A 35% tint all around might be in this car's future.

If you get tint, I would make sure to get a bronze tint. It looks real good. I've got 25 up front and 5 in the rear and love it.

And yeah, as for the color, I have yet to see another Subaru here in Dallas that is the same color. Infinity makes a color similar and have seen one or two fx35's with their bronze, but not a Subaru.

  2. :p

    you like bronze?

for me, I dont want to match my wheels to the car color.

I only like it in that it keeps with that "sleeper" look, but at the same time you get to do something different. How many people have you seen out there with bronze wheels....bronze cars?

I dunno...I haven't decided on a wheel color yet. Just thought it might look good. Post some pics up of your car!

  3. I like the gold too... I wouldn't own it, but it is nice.

Edit- on both colours though I wouldn't go with any wheel colour except silver. These aren't racy car colours and I think if you put racy coloured wheels on them, they'd have an identity crisis.

Stick with classy silver. The Spec B OEM rim would also be a great choice.

That's kinda what I was thinking...or at least that color....kind of a gunmetal. Either that or the bronze. I that the gold might be a bit much, however when looking at the pic with them, it might look good. Oh well...in any case, I love having a poop colored car!

  4. I was the one that made ~220whp/250wtq on a dynojet stock :)

And since I didnt post this in this thread yet I think, here my 08' 5MT with Stg 2 dyno tuned on a dynojet w/ 93 octane (272whp/336wtq) :D

    Mods:

    Stock turbo

    MR Dual Tip catback

    X02 Catless DP

    AVO CAI

Maybe it's something to do with the 08's. Because I've got one my "stage 1" putting down more than people's "stage 2". I can't wait till my up/dp come in and I can get the car re-tuned....At this rate, I might be hitting near the 300's!

I've also added a LW pulley that might help to free up a few ponies as well. :)

  5. Ok, so I know there was one guy who posted here and said he put down around 220 whp on a bone stock car....I think I might be one of those cars with higher than normal numbers. My car was road dynoed and took in affect everything from outside temp, wind, weight etc and I posted a higher than normal number as well. In fact it was weird even to the guy who tuned my car.

So my mods at the time of the tune and dyno are as follows (And this is with a STOCK Turbo:

    SPT CBE Exhaust

    SPT Intake

GFB BOV (if you want to count that)

    Opensource tune

    246WHP/268WTQ

Here is my graph (3rd gear pull):
