thanks sprank quick search came up with this Audio Resistor looks like just 1 resistor for line pressure I want to try it now...but I dont want to cut the harness, I want to remove the pin > add resistor > plug into tcu

It helps for me cause mine is 08:) But doesnt help utc_pyro because his is older model, diff tcu. Its a starting point Do you still have it? can you take a pic and what wire(s) its connected to? I may try it if I can get away not hacking up the harness Hmm...My idea is to remove the wire(s) from the harness plug into tcu, add wire with resistor to the pin end and reattach new wire w/ new pin to harness plug. Thats if the resistor is inline from tcu to VB. If its at the VB then its another story Thanks m sprank

The air pump is supposed to be modified for a bang bang system:lol: (anti lag system) Modify the air pump so it pumps fresh air into the exhaust. Find someone to tune it so when you lift off the throttle it retards the ignition, and the pump pumps air into the exhaust, and there u go, Thats what its suppose to be used for:lol: pfff emissions:rolleyes: i know whats is really for:p

I think it was external because his was the first 08. There was a ECU and valve body change in 08. If they needed they just changed the resistor right there instead of getting into the valvebody (drain fluids...)

Thats one of the things IPT does in valvebody mod. I read somewhere that the first guy that had the IPT had an external resistor so if they needed to they can change the resistor quickly (without dissassembly)

I want to change some parameters in 08+!!!! I want the throttle position n/a for downshifting (current no throttle to downshift to 1st @ 32mph, I sometimes have super light throttle and like to downshift, track use) Maybe bump up the downshift mph to 1st since 08+ have rev match, 3rd to 2nd does over 4300k rpm downshift iirc, 1st not so high

i had a $300 celeron toshiba laptop for 4 years before i upgraded it. it always sat on my bed so it didnt get much airflow and i did not have any problems with it. i liked my old toshiba so i bought another $650 toshiba, my new one has a 2 year warranty. no problems so far

you think someone like 'freadbeansparts' can help us? just saying because they are a dealership and they do sell some aftermarket/performance stuff. they could prob help with us with the cables (excluding scan tool or whatever subaru uses) and any programing/information if they are generous. no harm right? the most you get is no.

why did you have to show me this website, i was content on using itunes and not getting the internet tablet , but now im using songbird and its compatible with linux , and cause of that i also did some more research on the nokia n810, and i think ill be happy with it, for what im using it for and its small. cause of you i might spend another $220 but if i do get it and it all works the way i hope it does, its all your fault for changing my mind on it. im am basically do what he is doing i guess i just might as well get it

mainly for my iphone and ipods, i have had many different types of mp3 players and tried programs. what i like about itunes, i keep my music on an external hdd and they are in folders as my play list, i listen to my music by playlist not by artist and i have lot of songs in each play list. so i can just drag the folder into the itunes playlist vs adding the music to the program and scroll through finding each song and selecting them then add them to the playlist (this is how zune works), and its much more difficult finding music thats in a different language (jap,chinese) I like drag and drop to add songs as of now i use 3 ipods, one for car, iphone, and a nano cause its small. before anyone says anything i have had 6+ ipods and the only apple product i bought at retail is the iphone, the rest was either given to me or bought used much cheaper then retail price

yea i was going to buy it too, i did a lot of research to what i really want and i think the next thing will be a umpc the only reason why i decided against this is it doesnt run some sort of windows, so i cant run itunes (for iphone), so it wont be a very good compact traveling computer. if it did run windows i would of bought it for sure
