  1. Thanks for responding. What exactly didn't work? Supposedly, it regulates pump duty based on necessity. And would you recommend I just drop the 450 in as is and run that?
  2. I've skimmed through this thread and find it fascinating. Currently running a AVO 245lph fuel pump on E85. 50# turbo at 24psi is leaning me out with 1100cc injectors. My IDC gets up to 111%. My upgrade I have purchased is move to a Walbro 450 along with a Fuelpro pump controller. Check it out HERE Anybody here run one of those? First I'm going to install the pump controller and see if just that makes a difference. Next, I'll drop the pump in. I will report back my findings.
  3. I almost wish I wasn't self-tuned so I could work with you and take advantage of these amazing deals. Following these threads trying to pick up on some scraps of info, it's obvious you are not only knowledgeable, but quick and attentive to your customers. You'd be my first choice for an etune. Keep up the good work.
  4. My V2 does this sometimes. Subscribed.
  5. While I don't disagree, the original post does not mention anything about posting stock turbo numbers. Perhaps there should be a stock turbo dyno tuned thread however even this thread is redundant since there is now a whole section dedicated to performance and dyno numbers. Rather than argue since I think you're an okay guy, I'll just post my road dyno tuned results in case folks haven't been following along in my other thread. 2005 LGT Stock 5MT AVO 450 BB turbo E85 self tuned with Cobb AP For full list of mods, click HERE. I need to upgrade my intake and fuel pump since those are both maxed as they currently sit, but I think this has 450whp in it. Does the bottom end and transmission have the durability, though? That's the question.
  6. I could get those for you. How do you want them?
  7. Are you looking to swap. My travels may one day take me to Denver. Have: 2005 RBP winged trunk Want: RBP wingless trunk Loation: Omaha, Nebraska
  8. Your APv1 will not block romraider from reading data reported in your ECU. Furthermore, if you have an APv1, you can just use that cable to datalog, you just need to purchase a serial to usb adapter and run the proper driver for your OS. Nevertheless, if you've already got the Vag-com cable, make sure that romraider is reading to the correct COM port on your laptop.
  9. I forgot I made that stupid west african scammer post. Yeah, that should have been deleted. What's funny is that late in the thread, just like shadowimg, I made a serious post with a valid inquiry and that got deleted. Nevertheless, new vendors with new products dodging certain questions justifies a precautionary consumer.
  10. You want to know what's depressing? I can't remember if I posted what I have put into my car and I'm too lazy to go check. However, know that I spent several thousand so far and that was mostly 2 years ago. Now for the sad part; 2 years later and the most expensive parts still sit in my garage. It has been one delay after another.
  11. Yeah, you guys are a bunch of gangstas, yo. This is where you should turn your focus.
  12. ^^ Work at a Wal-mart office? So which box do you get to mark yourself off with?
  13. Got my ECU replaced under recall. Removed the AP before the procedure, and afterwards, reflashed with no issues whatsoever. Dealership gave me no grief about having a flashed ECU.
  14. I've got this issue myself. Since the ECU is warrantied for up to 80K, I should be good to go. I'll report back my experiences.
  15. Holy thread revival. Man I don't even want to think about it. The worst part is that about half the monetary value of the parts still sit idle in my garage. :spin:I guess that's better than being on my car before my car's ready for them. Then I'd have a whole car sitting idle in my garage.
  16. This is definitely intriguing. I've always loved that powerplant. BTW, where did you find the parts at those prices?
  17. Well.....I spent my $2.00 and gave it a shot, but a catted DP and Perrin mid and y pipes with stock mufflers and hogzaust just doesn't do it for me. I got too addicted to the Prodrives that I'd rather travel through winter with no noise at all. I think this mod is best served on a completely stock exhaust. It was a fun experiment but time to quiet it down.
  18. I'm just as bad. I'm going to take off my expensive prodrive cans for the winter and go hogzausting. I want to prolong the life of those cans, but I'm too addicted to the boxer rumble. Obvious solution; hogzaust FTW!
  19. Some faster drivebys. Nice, deep and throaty I think. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHnYQmuUOOw&feature=channel]YouTube - Legacy GT w/ Prodrive muffler acceleration driveby.[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLgc6_w6j5Y]YouTube - Legacy GT with another driveby.[/ame]
  20. My Prodrive mufflers with Perrin mids, Invidia catted DP. First is revs, second is a driveby in the snow with high revs. When the roads clear, look for higher speed drivebys. I'll post them here. 21. Okay, I'll tell you. My wife works for an insurance company as a temp at times and she overheard an adjuster on the phone with someone who had just been rear-ended. The person on the other end was complaining that their exhaust was compromised. He was talking loud enough for my wife to hear his gripe; "I just hogzausted my car, too!" The adjuster later asked my wife what hogzaust was and she knew! What are the chances? I figured anybody who hogzausts their car is a member and is lurking here somewhere since its pretty exclusive to our cars (so far).
