  1. The actual size of the cup-holders are the same but the door piece is somewhat on the way which limits the area just a bit. But overall, whatever fits in the current cup-holder will also fit in the JDM piece. That area will remain on your car as is..... What you need is the outer trim and the cup-holder assembly. Talk to Yuki from japan parts and he will know the two pieces you need.
  2. And most likely it is a one piece assembly.....
  3. Yes, direct bolt on with no modifications..... All you need is the JDM trim and the cup-holder piece.
  4. Trim is: $125.00 Cup Holder is: $90.00 + shipping from Japan ($40)...... Bit pricey but it is the little things that count IMO.....
  5. here is the latest addition. JDM / EDM cup holders..... Before http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111119_133243_zpse97ae1ea.jpg After http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111120_141315_zps2b950ddf.jpg
  6. And a small tribute to my previous 2008 Legacy 2.5i Limited. The BEST looking Subaru I've ever owned. She still looked brand new after 3 years 40K miles of ownership..... My coworker prety much stole her right before it's lease was up. I still get to see her everyday Below is a pic taken after her last detail right before delivery to its new owner..... http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/DSC00220_zpsa04d0a99.jpg

  8. Thank You. On the Subaru I've used Zaino Z-16. I also recommended Adams Super VRT or anything made by SwissVax if you want to spend some $$$.

  10. I guess I will keep updating this thread as I do more stuff to the car. Yesterday was full clear bra (including rocker panels) & 35% Formula 1 tint all around. She also got her very 1st wash and 1st tank of gas at 300 miles.... I am planing on doing a full detail & paint protection over the weekend to get her ready for rainy Seattle winters. I also realized that there is an identical 2011 3.6R Silver in my neighborhood. I will get pictures of two cars taken side by side to compare colors.... Here are some pictures after wash, clear bra & tint. (1 week since delivery) http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111013_140512_zpscfb287d8.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111013_140425_zps2a53c5ab.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111013_135927_zpsa5ee7998.jpg
  11. **EDIT: I will keep this thread as a modification journal..... Scroll down for additional pictures & mods (they will mostly be cosmetic) The wait is over! My car finally came in :-) It is the first 2012 3.6R Legacy in WA state. Ice silver looks a bit lighter than the old silver. Per my request the car was not dealer prepped so sorry for the dirty pictures. I will post some additional pictures of it when I am done with the detail / prep job. I am pretty impressed with 3.6R in comparison to my 08 Legacy 2.5i. Clear Bra / 35% tint will be the next mods. I have HIDs on order and already changed some of the bulbs to LEDs. I am still waiting for someone to figure out how to operate fogs without the headlights..... (Any help on that front will highly be appreciated) http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111007_153109_zps39d6f257.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/Subaru%202012/IMG_20111007_153133_zpsbd565b92.jpg
  12. Thank You for the compliments. Yes, we do get a lot of compliments especially when she is all cleaned up. We specifically picked and looked for this color for a while because of its looks and how uncommon it is. I don't think I have seen another sedan on the road in this color in Seattle area so far. A 35% tint all around might be in this car's future.
  13. That might very well be the case. I am sure there are ways to compare the two modules based on pictures on this board to see if the plugs are the same.
  14. After a small detail from last summer..... Since then I got the front bumper resprayed and got the license plate holes filled..... http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/tgunal/DSC00220.jpg
  15. I disabled mine 2008 Legacy completely following the instructions on this thread. All you need to do is pull one wire out and then you are done.
  16. Bought the car two days ago and just completed this mod in less than 10 min.... Pretty straight fw....
