Got the Silver Star clear lights that blink amber...looks sick! Now I finally have something to accent the chrome rocker trim.

So has anyone had any trouble with the cops recently with this mod? I doubt the Legacy gets much attention anyways, but as far as state inspections go, will this cause problems?

Did you just clear the amber? or did you black out the headlights too? I'd love to see pics.
I cleared out the amber, yes. I think blacked out lights would look terrible with the Regal Blue Pearl. I will take some pics tomorrow. I was short on time today. I didn't think I was going to make it to work today...with a bumber anyways
Plus I need to wash all of the sweat off it. -
Any autoshop should have them. I think I bought mine at pep boys.
I thought it was worth the PIAA, but if you ever have to do it again it's a piece of cake to do over.

Wow this was a PIAA. I never want to see another pop-it again for the rest of my life. There are still two that I have no idea where to put, but my bumper is secure, thats all that matters. I love the look though, now I want to find the clear turn signals that blink amber. Anyone know where I can find these?

I can't speak for the 2.5i, but the GT sounds nothing like your typical 4 cylinder rice burner. More like a cruiser motorcycle/V8. I got my bolts off with a wrench on one side and a wratchet on the other. You may need an extension or u-joint to help, though.

...and I'm stuck. I could get the bottom bolt/nut off the flange, but what about the top? There is hardly any room to get a wrench in there. How did you guys remove both of the bolts?

I'm gonna try this right now, but I'll start with two washers on each since I have a 2.5i. I dont want that ricey sound.

22-26 city depending on if i feel speed racer or not, and 28-33 highway. I just completed a 3,000 mile road trip. If I kept it between 75-79mph I avaraged 33 hwy, when I hooked up with some BMW's going between 85-110 mph my milage went down to 28mpg. I now have 4,700 miles on my car and have had my first oil change. I do not have a turbo car and have the 5mt transmission. All mpg was mostly without the ac on and using the cruse control as much as possible.
It seems like the faster I go, the better gas mileage I get. Odd for some reason. If I keep it up around 80, I get around 35+ miles to the gallon over 30 miles.
