  1. holyyyy we have so much of this nonsense around here in the hampton roads area seeing as how the majority of the population is dirty south donk. I need to carry my camera more often to catch some shots, too bad I'll probably chicken out because I fear for my life.
  2. Do headlight covers have any type of film on the inside? My headlights have been developing these weird blurry lines on the inside of the headlight cover, they are difficult to see in pics. I'm thinking maybe when I cleaned the inside of the headlight cover with windex, I could have caused some negative reaction? I cleared them about 30k miles ago. It's not too bad, but I'm wondering if it may hinder my ability to see at night if it gets worse. Its not actually covering the beam from the lights.

    ughhhh :hide:

  3. Nahhh ive been working on modding the interior lights and possibly picking up another grille for a DIY project. I don't think I'm gonna go for the spacers anytime soon. I got the Group N pulley, noticed a nice difference in acceleration when it was first installed...now....I don't really notice it, guess I have gotten used to the change.

Did you get the Grimmspeed spacer yet?

I'm close to pulling the trigger and maybe get the lightweight pulley too.

Any feedback on which pulley is best? Re: install I'm just going to take it to the dealer cause it might help with any warranty issues if they do the labor.

    Perrin $97

  4. I'm trying to limit mods to the inexpensive ones for now (and install the ones I already bought but don't have on the car yet) as I save up for the IPT 5eat valve body upgrade...then I'll be ready for W.I. :icon_chee

The autolumination web site isn't the easiest to navigate. Here's what I currently have in the cabin:

Start HERE, then scroll down to 6 LED Super High Flux for the map light bulbs ($9.99 x 2). Next, scroll to 12 LED Two-Face for what I'm using in the front door puddle lights ($11.99 x 2). Finally, scroll to 25 led High Powered SMT Array for the dome light ($24.99). Use the 31mm size for all of them. Total would be $74 for all 5 of them shipped.

It looks like the fastwrx dome light has a plastic piece you install inside the lens to position the LEDs. I just used a piece of foam tape behind my LED array and used a small flat blade screwdriver to get position it exactly where I wanted it as I snapped the plastic lens back in place. The foam keeps the LED board pressed against the inside of the lens with some light pressure so it doesn't move.

Thanks for the directions! So these are all basically plug and play? No modifications to the wiring?

My dome light is out and I just want to replace everything with LEDs.

  5. install guide is here:

Looks like it may take a while to install. Btw, are you using any aftermarket end links or brackets for your Rallitek sway set?

Yeahh aftermarket Rallitek endlinks in the rear! I haven't looked under the car lately, so I have no clue whats going on down there. I think my front endlinks are still holding up, no unusually clunking that I have noticed.

  6. Please post some photos when you're done installing the spacers.

According to the instructions it takes 4 hours to install?

I probably will just take to an independent Subie shop to get it installed.

How do you like the lightweight pulley?

I don't know if I could go through that whole install process without screwing something up lol. Taking it to a shop sounds enticing, but that would be a hefty bill i bet. The lightweight pulley made a noticeable difference when I first pulled it out of the shop! I was like wowwww when I dropped it in 3rd and did a pull at about 4k rpms. The power comes on quicker it seems like.
