Looks like a UJM that's been cafe'd out

If you can find a dealer for a test ride... I originally went to the dealer to look at those but they were on back order. Had to put a refundable deposit down and order one just to test ride it. Rode the thruxton and fell in love. If the 900 in the street twin is anything like the 1200 in the thruxton in terms of vibration, you'll love it.

The Official: Fastest Legacy Thread (1/4 and 1/8)

It's got more in it. My stage 2 LGT ran a 13.7 at Numidia. ...with 2 cracked ringlands. -
It is the closest way to be able to compare your car's power/traction with others' anywhere in the world...

Apparently most people on this forum feel drag racing is beneath them or something.

That, or just have a catch-all "stock turbo" category. -

It might be a good idea to put a dedicated stage 2 category on the first page, since it's rare to get faster than a low 13 on that setup. As it is now, a few more stage 3+ timeslips will eliminate all the stage 2 cars from the list completely. -

Turbo looks a bit close to the intake manifold. Is there any heat shielding between them? -

How long did you spend in the staging lanes? Heat soak sucks. -

I didn't mean using the whole LS7 engine, just the dry sump bits. But after furthur googling, I guess you need quite a few LS7 parts to use the OEM dry sump setup on another LS engine. -

C6 Z06 came with a dry sump system from the factory, so you might be able to use those parts. -
^^^ The '08 STI front bushings went in my control arms just fine. It wasn't too easy to get the old ones out, though.

The STI front bushings are rubber AFAIK. I replaced both F&R with STI ones anyways.

^^^ The DP is a cobb catted unit. Also, keep in mind that I've got ELH, so it sounds a bit different. -
How to: Installing a BNR turbo
TRSCobra replied to m sprank's topic in Walkthroughs :: Performance Modifications
That *&^$%@ inlet took longer to install than the turbo, ELH, and injectors combined. I loosened up the bolts for the uppipe and the turbo bracket, then I squeezed it onto the turbo and tightened the hose clamp at the same time. Never again! -

Why did you block out the rearview? Don't like your haircut? -
Group N engine mounts
TRSCobra replied to captainmorgan's topic in Turbo Powertrains (2.0GT, 2.5GT, 2.5XT)
I've launched mine over 20 times at as high as 6000 rpm, sometimes using the lc/ffs, and my 72k mile 5mt is still in one piece. Times in my sig. And for relevance to this thread, I'm running GroupN motor and trans mounts. -

My HKS was too loud for me (and my neighborhood). Not so much at first, but once I swapped in a turbo with a TD06 hotside it wasn't so silent anymore. Maybe I'm just getting old. -

Are you using a special kind of bondo or something? Every bondo'ed hood I've ever seen ends up cracking. -
Valve Body Mods, Giant Leaps Forward!!!
TRSCobra replied to ClimberDHexMods's topic in Transmissions
I'm thinking this mod with the center diff bushings and a higher stall tq converter (if someone even makes one) would allow for some killer times and great consistency with a big turbo. -

Even though I've got a 5mt, as a drag racer I'm curious how this mod affects 1/4 performance. I love auto's on the dragstrip!
