In case anyone in Canada was interested, while our Walmart's don't stock this Supertech Semi-Synth 75w90 gear oil (we get stuck with castrol at $20/l), Canadian Tire has Motomaster brand Semi-Synth (GL-5, MT-1, Milspec, etc...) in 1L and 4L containers. $9 per 1L, or $33 per 4L, which is a much better deal than anything else readily availible here. I have irritated many a Walmart employee looking for this stuff in Quebec and Eastern Ontario, and have settled on the Motomaster stuff. On NASIOC there are some good reviews, and the Forester forums has a few kudos for this stuff too.

All they have here is Castrol stuff.

Urgh, the Walmart 75w90 Synthetic Super Tech stuff is not available in Canada... And don't get me started on finding a T70 torx bit...

You should remove the gaskets and keep them in a safe place.
