  1. american.beauty, your deals are fucking bizarre.
  2. Have you ever been there? These stats don't do it justice. Literally every third car is a Subie.

  4. or a "This post lacks rational thought, shows failure to research or put forth effort, reeks of n00b, and/or just plain sucks" button.

  6. congrats. how much weight? and were you carrying an alice or the molle?
  7. you're right. safety is only an issue when you're racing. how silly of me.
  8. it's supposed to be Form follows Function. this is what happens when people choose wheels FIRST, then decide what tires they can get away with. for performance, safety, tire wear, and any other reason that makes any kind of sense, wheels should be chosen to fit inside the tires you want to run. not the other way around. your tires are the only part of your car that touches the road surface. wheels are just a tool to attach them to the vehicle. are they important? sure. but you wouldn't choose which screwdriver to use on the basis of how cool it looks before finding proper screws for your application, would you?
  9. what is the point of running wide wheels if you can't put wide tires on them?
  10. nope, never got a ticket when i lived in chapel hill. but i bet you can find on in either the phone book or via google.
  11. if things haven't changed, as long as your license is addressed properly, you'll get plenty of offers in the mail. pick the cheapest one and send them the check. easy peasy.

  18. I had my wagon tuned at Draco by Barry, and had them put a clutch in. Good tune and good service IMO. Cleanest shop I think I've ever been in, and that always says something about the attention to detail of the owner/staff. They actually have their own forum that you can check out if you like, but you have to register. http://www.draco-forum.com
