For me, its more that I used the car as a Grand Touring car and not a track car so the strength benefits of the sti/ spec b 6 speed don't out way the highway cruising gearing of the split case 6 speed. Also this is all just wish list stuff since any new trani purchase is not in the near future
It’s the front LSD that make a sti 6mt so good (aside from strength/durability)
the diff makes the car handle so much better

Oh man, most of the pics in my thread disappeared with the forum update!

Lol. Man do I miss the tanks button.
I’ve been driving my car a lot lately. I’ve fallen in love again after the new tires, spec b aluminum stuff, and sti rack. It’s great.
Oops - thought I was in the WDYDTY4GT thread.

Reading the description raises a lot of red flags. I guess ip these make sense if you’re using the car for “grip racing”. Lol. Why not just use proven methods from whiteline?
-
Are the seatbelts still available?

Sti rack is worth every penny.

Yup. Votes matter. Remember when we were a strong nation? I do, but it hurt peoples feelings.

I think I have a few left from my 5-pack somewhere. I’m happy to send them your way if I find them.

Depends what you mean by "integrated into the harness".
I'm logging a wideband through a reclaimed TGV plug, but you would need to delete your TGVs to do that.
It can be integrated into the ECU by utilizing any available 0-5v input (TGV or MAF) and a custom field in the AP.

Pretty sure that threads in to a captive nut that is secured to the unibody structure. Worst part is I don’t think you needed to remove that nut to pull the trailing arm.
-
Sways are cheap and easy to add later. If budget is an issue I would do the kta 124 with an alignment and add sways later if you feel you want them.
-
I’ve had them installed since 2010 or so. No issues.
-
AFAIK all years have them. They bolt on to the bottom of the trailing arm with three bolts.
-
Yes you can use the factory steel lateral links. Be sure that your trailing arms have the brackets to attach the end links.

Here it is gentlemen. 2.3l, auto, big bend, 221a package. So some amenities are not added. And to be frank, a complete waste to buy since the aftermarket will explode for me to customize most options to my liking.
First impressions are the engine is very torquey, the 10spd auto is quiet nice, much quieter on the highway with a soft top than I expected. Comfy to drive. Nice interior layout that's well thought out by Ford imo.

Fired her up for the first time in two months! What a shame. I backed it out of the garage, turned it around, and backed it into the garage. Tomorrow I’m pulling summer wheels and installing winters just to prevent a flat spot on the mps4s.
id love to take her for a rip but the weather sucks.
