  1. Wow...vinyl wrap an entire car. Never crossed my mind, nor had I every heard of it, but now you've got the wheels in my head spinning. I guess my #1 questions would be how well does it hold up? Does it bubble, shrink, wrinkle under hot/cold conditions? My LGT has some scratches and dings which I would very much like to have repaired. I even have a family owned body shop to get a discount on the body work portion but even then it still costs an arm and leg for paint and to get it resprayed. Flat black vinyl would match my black wheels nicely.

Wrapping is actually pretty popular with higher-end cars these days. I've seen quite a few wrapped Porsches, AM's, BMW's.....

We should do a GB Mark!

I know of a place local that would be able to source pretty much any color under the sun (and help out with any bumps in the road too).

  2. 05/06 silver Legacy parked in the driveway of a house on 49, just inside the el dorado county line heading toward Pville.

Also saw a silver GT parked on diamond springs (?)(two exits west of placerville, has a bunch of new shopping centers) near 50...

...and just now a SWP with a spoiler on cedar ravine near the hospital.

  3. You are 100% correct and I was on highway 17 that day too but im not familar with your guys cars. And ya I guess not everyone can be a subaru enthusiust (<=== I suck at spelling) like us. It would be cool though :)

I grew up in Santa Cruz and unfortunately even the modded Suby's (with one or two exceptions) don't wave either. Between the WRX I owned and now the LGT, I only have been waved at by owners I personally knew already

  4. I dont know if any of you guys have been to the santa cruiz area but lets just say if I had a dollar for every subaru I saw I could get myself some new sway bars :) Most seen up there were outbacks, followed by legacy wagons (all older ones) then foresters, then imprezas, followed by 1 05ish legacy GT sedan lol

...if you had a dollar for every one that waved tho, you could only buy a slurpee.

...Oh I saw SneakyFast on 17 yesterday, he was headed NB, I was rolling SB. Hi.

  5. We should plan a day when we'll all be in the GV area and scare the crap outta the local Subaru populace

...and speaking of not spotting another LGT member, I saw 2 cars this last weekend I thought I would never see in GV- A Merc SLR (which was easily doing 2x the limit on 49) and an Ariel Atom
