SWP GT on 49 (maybe it was 193, I drove a lot today..) lowered, tint and debadged. Looked good.
-
Silver GT wagon with HID's on 85 heading toward Mtn View yesterday ~12pm...I was on an overpass, so no hope of a reciprocating sighting
-
Silver GT wagon with dark wheels, tint and a rack on top in downtown Los Gatos this evening.
-
05/06 silver Legacy parked in the driveway of a house on 49, just inside the el dorado county line heading toward Pville.
Also saw a silver GT parked on diamond springs (?)(two exits west of placerville, has a bunch of new shopping centers) near 50...
...and just now a SWP with a spoiler on cedar ravine near the hospital.
-
QSM specB with a spoiler on 101NB, male driver with a shrunken head thingy hanging from the rearview mirror...Pulled up next to you, but I was in a tank of a suburban on the way to the airport.
-
Blue GT wagon with mesh grill yesterday on 85 ~3pm, passed me in the carpool lane then exited onto 280.
-
This last Tuesday ~945am, hwy 84 between 680 and Livermore....Waved at an LGT, possibly an '06 B (color looked right), with a mesh grill. Pretty sure it was the same one I saw in the same area a month earlier that waved my direction.
-
I may be able to swing a drive this Sunday...
-
^word....count me in
-
Dude you're back! How was the trip?
-
Saw a silver GT sedan on 84 this morning around 915, black wheels w/ polished lip...sorry for the half-ass wave, I was caught off guard that someone waved first
-
Last night ~10pm-ish....DGM(?) Legacy with a roof rack on Railway Ave in Campbell near the light rail station. The 3 of us crossed the street ahead of you, but didn't realize it was a Legacy til I saw the taillights.
-
^Totally OT, but I just learned where El Granada is today, driven through it a million times but never knew it was there
-
You are 100% correct and I was on highway 17 that day too but im not familar with your guys cars. And ya I guess not everyone can be a subaru enthusiust (<=== I suck at spelling) like us. It would be cool though
I grew up in Santa Cruz and unfortunately even the modded Suby's (with one or two exceptions) don't wave either. Between the WRX I owned and now the LGT, I only have been waved at by owners I personally knew already
-
I dont know if any of you guys have been to the santa cruiz area but lets just say if I had a dollar for every subaru I saw I could get myself some new sway bars Most seen up there were outbacks, followed by legacy wagons (all older ones) then foresters, then imprezas, followed by 1 05ish legacy GT sedan lol
...if you had a dollar for every one that waved tho, you could only buy a slurpee.
...Oh I saw SneakyFast on 17 yesterday, he was headed NB, I was rolling SB. Hi.
-
^nice! Yah we won't be up there this weekend, too much going on around here. If we plan a couple weeks or so in advance, I should be able to make it work...
-
We should plan a day when we'll all be in the GV area and scare the crap outta the local Subaru populace
...and speaking of not spotting another LGT member, I saw 2 cars this last weekend I thought I would never see in GV- A Merc SLR (which was easily doing 2x the limit on 49) and an Ariel Atom
-
I do see a bunch whenever we're up there, which is pretty often- The girlfriends parents have a house in Wildwood, her grandparents live off 49 in La Barr Meadows, and my grandparents live off 49 in El Dorado.
I'll have to keep an eye out for you since we're twins
-
Saw a few LGT's between grass valley and p-ville on 49 yesterday.
-
Red LGT sedan on Hwy 17 SB last night (I was NB) with black wheels, HID's, ginormous decal on the rear window. Pretty sure its the same one I've seen a few times at the ToysrUs in Santa Cruz....
-
That's me, was there with my kid for some shopping.
I had a feeling I finally spotted someone who would acknowledge
Your car looks good.
-
Saw SPEC B in the Nordstrom parking garage at Valley Fair around ~11am

Wrapping is actually pretty popular with higher-end cars these days. I've seen quite a few wrapped Porsches, AM's, BMW's.....
We should do a GB Mark!
I know of a place local that would be able to source pretty much any color under the sun (and help out with any bumps in the road too).
