Konis, but the Konis don't make the car sit lower. When I bought the car, it had Konis and Stock springs, I was monster trucking like the rest of you running stock springs.
It is a 2 finger gap, I guess the turned wheel is misleading. The second picture is accurate.

Just on stock wheels. Don't worry about the location...I was going for something that didn't really work lol. And this does make me want to do a photoshoot of my car. I'm usually taking pics of other cars since I see mine everyday. Sorry if I'm not much help

I'll whore out this picture again. Not on 18's but you get an idea. Its about a 2 finger gap all the way around.

I'm down with backwoods if I'm on the river where I'm likely to get pushed into water or fall into the water.
I'm a big fan of any maduro(darker) Rocky Patel.

Just leave it stock. No one will know its modded(as it looks stock) and the people that notice will already know you are modded.

do they being 17's really look too small on our cars? I've got an OBP 05 with some f'd up stock rims that hit a few curbs courtesy of the (woman) previous owner. Since I picked the car up I've been thinking of getting these. Always been a fan of the gold sti bbs's, mainly because of the great looking contrast between the obsidian and the gold (as some of you guys above displayed beautifully ). I really want them, but this size situation I read about here is kinda concerning me. Opinions?
I opted for 17's mainly because of tire prices. I don't think they look small...my only gripe is the rear fitment. The rear could be pulled out a bit. Here are a few more pics to get another look. I'm currently on H&R springs, koni shocks and Kumho ASX's 235/40/17's.

Habitual Line Stepper: Here is an HDR that makes the gold look bronze.
