it got sponsored because i network all night long on forums and i write sponsorship proposals to comapnies, and they like what i have to offer, so they send me products in return for media exposure and over all getting their product out to "you" the people. Its all about what you can do for them, and obviously in return they will sponsor you in hopes of expanding there sales into other ventures. I go to a lot of shows and i plan on racing as well this year. My last car used to go to all kinds of shows and i used to race all the time. Till it was totaled by some tool. a 16 year old kid who told the police officer after he hit my car with an F-150 that he was watching tokyo drift and was trying to drift around the conrner but lost control hitting my car while it was parked. I had sponsorship on that car with over 6K worth of work done to it and nothing to show for it now. So i set out to do one better and bought a subaru LGT Limited 5sp in blue. I linked up with most of my previous sponsors with no problem because they understand that i am faithful to them and that I would once again even though a new car help them with exposure to the public eye and get their product out there. So if you were wondering how now you know. Its all about writting a good sponsorship proposal sticking to it and creating sponsorships to help you as much as you help them.

  4. Last Thursday, Feb 7, on 95 N just inside MA from RI, about 4:45 or so, blue LGT in the fast lane going about 85mph. I sucked behind you for a while but decided to keep it at 75mph. Rain, 33 degrees out, and 65K on the Bridgestones. Can't wait to get new tires. :-)

that could have been me. Did you see to extra large mufflers hanging off the back... well not extra large. 4 Inch exhaust? or was it stock exhaust. You would have heard me if you were behind me. Put it this way most people can feel my exhaust through their car at an idle.

  5. damn wish i was there to pwn some people.

hahah your not the only one who was thinking that. That was my same thought. I just ordered a stage three clutch and fly wheel along with some stage 3 axle's. got make a strong foundation for the car to ride on before you start to make some major power. Its better to set the car up so you dont break anything. Its either i replace the axle's now or replace them when they break.

  6. Hey Underdog, I've been good! Just busy :) How about yourself? I'm gonna get all girly here and say I kinda missed you guys. ;)

Vacca, my friend and I are meeting with our kids this morning (in fact I'm late and she's going to kill me) at the IHOP in Walpole, then heading back to my place for some Rock Band and Portal. I wouldn't be free until the late afternoon but if you're still in the area, let me know - I'll check in later when I'm kid-free.

i actually never made it out.. i got out of work at 8am.. got home and passed out till 8pm later that night. maybe sometime again we all can meet up.

  7. well if you want me and jeff maybe meeting up today a little bit later in canton/stoughton. Your more than welcome to join us. He has a LGT LTD. I am trying to sell my downpipe i got two by mistake from vivid racing. I can send it back, But i figure sell it for less that i payed for it to people on the forum. I am selling it for 275 its an invidia divorced catless downpipe. I bought it for 327. its still in the box. It has not been oppened yet. I believe it fits the wagon gt and the sedan. I will look into it further if anyone with a wagon is looking for one. If anyone wants to hear what a full turbo back exhaust with 4 inch exhaust sounds like i will be in canton/stoughton later today. I am thinking about hanging out around the do it yourself car wash on 138 near the new McDonalds, also near antons cleaners. i will be there around 12pm or so. I have a blue Gt LTD.
  8. Yeah, I'm catching up on months of the thread - sedan or wagon, you remember? I take Route 1 from the rotary in Norwood into Westwood (and back) every weekday.

    -Coelli

then i guess i will be seeing you more often then.. i have a full turbo back exhaust now.. magnaflow 4 inch exhaust... im sure you wont miss it.. if you dont see it you will surely hear it.

  9. ^ You're aware that nitrous could make your engine go boom if you try for 420whp with stock internals, correct?

yes of course. but u dont need a 100 shot to make 420 hp. i am going to have a stroker engine built.

    2.61L Econo Series

    100mm Bore, 8.5:1 Pistons

    600hp Economy Rods

    83mm Stroke Billet Crank

i am not sure if they make it for our cars.. but some cars have nitrous specific cams.

    http://www.jscspeed.com/part_pictures/bc_ej25_stroker.jpg

  10. ^^ impressive

to the above "shameless plugger" you are not going to make 420whp on an 18g. and not to be rude, but seriously, get to know whats going in your car before you start talking smack about it mmmk.

and lastly to stick with the thread, there has been an ABP LGT w/ 5 spoke rims sitting at the heritage flight center in burlington airport for at least a week now, anybody on here? VT plates.

your aware that nitrous exists correct?

  11. my sponsors have promissed to help me reach my goal. no matter how long it takes. down pipe, up pipe full 4 inch turbo back exhaust, full intake system, front mount intercooler with three inch intercooler pipe maybe bigger? 18G Mitsubishi turbo or some kind of garrett turbo i am not sure yet, stage 2 custom cams, new internals all of them, My nitrous kit just came today, stage 3 or 4 clutch and flywheel, and dont forget the most important thing DEI products, they are good for any application Turbo or N/A engines. exhaust raps allow better heat transfer which equals more HP. They make a CRYO2 sprayer kit that promisses 50-51% more efficeincy than no spray at all.. here is a little from their website..

The CryO2 System is a revolutionary and award-wining performance product designed to reduce the air intake temperatures in the air/fuel charge. The result is a power creating alternative that is safer and cheaper to refill than nitrous.

Through the science of aerodynamics and cryogenics, DEI has developed a system that harnesses the cryogenic properties of liquid Co2 to lower the air/fuel intake charge by up to 60%. The best part is that it is completely safe and unlike nitrous, CryO2 does not inject anything into your motor!

    CryO2 Cryogenic Air Intake

The CryO2 Air Intake segments mount right in the air stream using silicone sleeves. They consists of an aerodynamically designed bulb with a cryogenic chamber which is mounted in a 4" segment of air tube.

    CryO2 Intercooler Sprayer

The CryO2 Intercooler Sprayer mounts directly to the front of the intercooler or aftercooler and vents the liquid CO2 directly onto the cooling fins, thus enhancing the performance of the intercooler by more than 50%. This component must always be the last in the CryO2 system as it vents the liquid CO2 charge.

    CryO2 Purge Systems

Get the Nitrous look without the Nitrous cost. The CryO2 purge system purges CO2 at a fraction of the cost.

    CryO2 Cryogenic Fuel Bar

The CryO2 Fuel Bar is a billet aluminum extension to the fuel line with a cryogenic chamber. This is a must for High HP cars and trucks...

    CryO2 Adjustable Timer Switch

Our CryO2 Timer Switch allows the user to adjust the on and off durations. Setting the timer accordingly will allow the components to stay cool for long periods of time.

    CryO2 Intercooler Water Sprayer

DEI’s CryO2™ Intercooler Water Sprayer Kit was designed to be used by itself or in conjunction with DEI’s CryO2 Intercooler Sprayers as a way to supercool intercoolers.

and just remember be smart and take it to the track Dragracing accounts for 44 deaths out of 2000 people who street race..

I personally have seen some bad street racing disastors on bikes, trucks, and cars.... hope i have showed you how i am making power on my car easy and affordable.
