No one said anything about a tune but yourself. Im not hating on inviting rust into my exhaust system because of the gap in the exhaust.

WoW, so, it has already passed 2000 posts,.....hogmeat I am forever impressed with your ability........
update to hogzaust......
I stockered mine up again.....I just don't like the loud rumbling in the winter......
(story took place while still hogzausted)
I went out to do some 'driving' in some unused parking lots....with snow, and I guess all that 'driving' attracted some 'pigs'.....although the man was quite 'stoned', and didn't really care to bother neone.....
pig - "what are you boys doing here?"
boys - just having some fun in the snow officer....
pig - "well...I don't think that a good idea...you get my drift<-----(actual word used...how ironic, hahahaha)
boys - (chuckle) yessir, have a good night sir, thank you sir...
...then we just jetted off.....thank god no problems
amazing how all cops are automatically pigs... cough cough.

it wont get to much louder at an so called stage exhaust leak. i have a quick time performance cut out.. and if you want to to talk about a stage exhaust leak i would be at stage 5 with my cut out open.. at almost 3 and half inches thats a big exhaust leak.
-
^^^ good point fishbone.. its funny people think this sound is produced because of the washers in between exhaust parts.. your right your only hearing it because of your exhaust leak.. its not like your creating that suabru engine sound through this modification.. if you spent some money or saved it and bought an exhaust you would have the same sound.

oo i guess my chances of seeing you are slim i get live in easton go through sharon to route 1 get on the highway at exit 15 in norwood then continue on 128 north and get off at 19a in needham.
-
does anyone take 128 to work in the morning or take it home at night??

this is all great info.. i just destroyed my stage 3 spec and cracked my stock fly wheel.. turns out ive been doing some pretty hard launches... also turns out i wore a grove in the transmition with the clutch fork, i bent it pretty bad which kept a lot of pressure on my flywheel, from what i am told thats what killed everything meaning the clutch and the flywheel, the mechanics had trouble pulling the clutch fork back up into place, but in the end where able to do so... do they make an aftermarket clutch fork maybe out of something stronger... im thinking maybe my spec stage 3 was to aggressive and the stage 2 should be better. any thoughts?

congratulations.. what county/town/statie?
if you do pull me over let me know its you because ill probably be sh**ing my pants.. ive had some bad experiences with cops in my past.. all deservingly so.. you only dislike cops if you are guilty of something.. and i was at the time.. these days i only get pulled over for traffic violations..
BTW i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to race you in your cruiser.. i know you could get in a lot of trouble.. but you name the time and place and ill be there.. i think that would be the coolest thing.. last cop to pull me over was a statie (front plate violation) and he was in an unmarked charger.. i tried asking him about his car, if it had a hemi or if it was just a base model and he wasnt having it.. he was nice for a statie and let me off with a verbal warning.. best experience ive ever had getting pulled over
those chargers are pretty fast. from what ive been told, they reflash the computer, and some of them are the srt8 models, another words i would rather be chasing some one in one than running from one.

lowered black legacy gt passing massasoit community college i was on your right pulling out of that appartment complex accross from blue hills technical high school. You had rims and black out tail light black tint, and aftermarket exhaust.

$300 shipped to my house.

they make those kits from 2 inch exhaust to 8 inch exhaust.

That's an exhaust cutout. It can be opened or closed from inside the car. When closed the exhaust goes through all the pipes and out the mufflers like it normally would to keep things quiet. When it's opened up the exhaust can exit right after the DP.
yes very true. Made BY QTP (Quick Time Performance).

hey hogmeat, i was wondering to make a gap where the up pipe connects to the catalytic converter, i would assume the only "bad" thing would be is the heat seeping out of that small crack:lol: but if you think about it all you would need then is about 1/2 the size of one washer we use now, and it would be monstrous... for those of us who like it like that...?
I mean the only difference would be that it would naturally take a little bit longer with all that jackin' you'de have to do to get it up (non sexual:lol:), so you can get under it and start workin..?
only problem was when i was looking under my car, I saw some parts that looked like "springs" in front of the bolt heads, that may pose an issue... what's your take on this?
(of course his is just an extra (really extra) project for those of us who have a month till school starts and don't have a job because they promised there cousin that he can finish it out till september)....
i arleady have that. Its pretty loud just warning you. it maybe louder than you think. Mines there because when i replaced the exhaust gasket it was the wrong size. I tried to put a 2 inch gasket on a 3 inch pipe. Needless to say it worked some what. I would have put something else on. But i had to do this on the highway because i kept getting pulled over. My bolts on my down pipe kept backing out because on my stage 3 clutch chatter. when i am in first gear.
