I don't know where any images are right now. I sent them 32GB worth and they are looking into why they aren't migrated.

If you are here, the move is finished, but there are still some background tasks continuing to update the site (images, threads, etc).

We're moving! If you're seeing this, the move is underway and the site will be not open to new content until the move is complete. We expect to bring the site offline Monday evening for backup, and moved to Invision Power Board (hosted) Tuesday with DNS updates to follow shortly after. See you on the other side.

I can look into emails, if that seems to be an issue, but I'm receiving them fine in both test accounts and admin accounts. Feel free to PM me details.

There were 16 some years of classified threads that are pretty easy to just purge, along with stuff that's been well hidden under "archives" for years that you probably didn't even know were here. Overall this site is about 1/10th of the traffic it was 5 years ago, and keeping the lights on I'm sort of faced with two outcomes, prune and move to a modern affordable cloud service (and off our own iron), or just let it continue to slowly burn away. Things like the "Thanks" button were also part of the reason the site slowed down so much, all these things were third party hacks.

I don't plan to run "Update post counts", which would rebuild it all from scratch, but when we move I sort of doubt the inflated count would come along.

It's expected unfortunately, we've deleted about 1 million posts today.

Unfortunately the site is about 10GB of text alone and that's part of the problem. Don't need 15 year old threads of someone selling some struts. Even just purging that down to like 2GB will make a huge difference.

We are planning to move the site to Invision Power Board (hosted) and expect a whole new site to resolve many longstanding issues.

HTTPS has been removed for now, so update your bookmarks. The longer story is the cert software no longer supports the sites OS, and the sites OS is not able to be upgraded, which means buying new servers and moving to something else. Not a short task so no HTTPS is the current resolution.

We're aware but it's not a simple fix so no ETA.

Some robot crawlers have gone amuck and I think I've gotten most of them blocked now. Will continue to watch the cpus.

We'll be looking into providing members with a 'Vendor Feedback' type forum in the future. I'm sure many Vendors will appreciate having a place to help improve service.

We don't think its appropriate for individual members to enact "justice", if there is an issue specifically with a Vendor operating outside what members think is fair or satisfactory on the board, then report the Vendor and let the staff investigate. Obviously we don't want bad Vendors on the board. But given everyone will have different interpretations on what is appropriate, best to leave it to the staff to judge everyone as equal as possible.

Welcome, We just wanted to make it clear that all Vendors deserve the same respect that every other poster here deserves, but honestly probably moreso. This includes: - Keeping the post/thread on-topic - Be respectful of the Vendor. - Ask good questions, wait for good answers. - Do not participate when threads have derailed. - Be patient when waiting for replies, or staff help. Keep in mind that Vendors are what pay to make this site run. Making this site a negative experience for them, the staff, or for other members here will be given our full attention and potentially removing of posting privileges in this area.
