no, if you pull the white connector out you get no high beams/cruise control. You wanna pull the connector out, use a small flathead screwdriver to pop the male end open so you can unplug the wire instead of cut it, close the male end up and plug it back in. That's what I did.

I did it on my 07, i think everything was the same, you just want to take the wires out of the harness instead of just unplugging it or else you get no cruise control.

I ended up getting the Autolite double platinum from Autozone, funny thing that was unexpected, sparkplugs.com quoted them at $5.91 each and they were only $3.99 each at Autozone for the same part #. I knew the part # before I went in, so as a test I had them pull it up in their system and they got it right, so I guess thats a point for Autozone.

Well this will be my first time doing a spark plug change on my 2.5i. I've been to SparkPlugs.com, so I guess my question is would it be better/OK to use Iridium plugs or should I just stick to the Double Platinum on my N/A engine? Also, anyone got a brand they recommend? The choices I get for my search are Autolite, Bosch, Champion, and Denso. Thanks for the info

Put em on a cookie sheet covered in tin foil. Your headlights will be fine, they're made to stand up to extreme temps, so you don't need to monitor the process, but honestly it scares the shit out of me too, and both times I've cooked mine I've been standing in front of the oven staring at them the whole time
