  1. hey sorry its been a while- the vinyl lines never came out so I should be getting a replacement roll soon. I have pics done of everything but the front bumper, will post tonight
  2. saw a dark gray LGT this morning on 287 at 8:30, tints, exhaust, wheels..probably more but I forget, looked nice!!!
  3. I was given a go by the vinyl distributor and the lines will come out over time..another week ish. I finished up the doors tonight..bumper sometime soon ish. I'll take pics tomorrow, its dark already and I don't wanna be batman again..
  4. if the hood is that chipped, you'll most likely be able to see the chips through the vinyl, at least this stuff- its really thin
  5. Haha sadly no, I just am usually up at odd hours vinyling. Ill take some daytime pics tomorrow. Sadly I'm not going to finish or attempt the front bumper until I figure out if these marks in the vinyl come out or that I. Need it replaced...meh
  6. I'll comment on good places to buy vinyl in about one week.. I just need to see howe my "stiped" vinyl situation plays out..haha It cleans really well, I parked under a tree the other day and sap came off easily. It does scratch easily, moreso than paint, and because its matte its more visible. While applying it, its very important to "stretch" (you don't really want to stretch it much at all though) evenly, or the differences in the sections will be obvious (normal matte->getting glossier). I've used diNoc vinyl..its a lot different to work with and a lot thicker..makes it better and worse. The thing to watch out with that though is over large surfaces, if it isn't uniformly stretched, it will be really obvious in the "CF" lines..they won't be straight
  7. more or less, yes. the less: some parts where you had to stretch it, or just over time, there will be some adhesive residue, but it willl come off with a good wash and maybe a little isopropyl alch
  8. Yeah, if the marking on the vinyl doesn't go away, ill get the second roll replaced and redo the doors. Not going to do the front bumper until I know for sure that the stripes go away- not gunna waste all that time just to have to maybe redo it.. And yes, this is reversible, and temporary aka only a year ish. Not to mention this cost me so little.. a good pro matte black paint job would be a little more I think.......
  9. sooo...notice the "stipes" in the vinyl.. apparently they'll be ogne in a few days and just needs some heat/time...we shall seeee http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/w1.jpg http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/w2.jpg http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/w3.jpg
  10. Ashes, yay big two posts! How's summer goin?
  11. soooo...my second roll of vinyl is crap. haven't cursed as much as I did today for a really long time... hopefully I'll have it replaced by early next week. :-/
  12. the only seams I've needed are on the tops of the A and C pillars, both sides. They look very neat, and I cut them on bendable cutting boards with very sharp razors. If you look reallllyy closely, you might be able to make them out in my pics, but yeah, they blend in really well! ..not looking forward to the front bumper... look at the topmost picture on this page and you can just barely make out the c pillar seam..
  13. who wants to do my tints for meeee? pleaseee? haha did the rocker panels and front fenders..front fenders make such a huge difference and look bangin' in matte black.. better pics to come when its sunny.. http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/x4.jpg http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/x5.jpg
  14. and the car is filthy, esp the bumper, so no, i didn't mess up :-p
  15. hahaha nice. I'm kinda surprised, no one hates this..yet! haha http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/x1.jpg http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/x2.jpg http://berzindesign.com/vinyl/x3.jpg more to come soon..
  16. Nope, no air bubbles, just the way the light reflected

  18. oh, and the pinstripe had to come off :-p
  19. just finished the rear bumper and quarter panels... blah! the piece of vinyl for the rear bumper was ten feet by two feet.. definitely need a few people to help for that one! will post pics tomorrow
  20. Hey everybody I will post some pics of the interior tomorrow! I unassembled the fuel door cap and rear bumper, tomorrow I'll finish up the rear quarter panel, and if I have time I'll start on the bumper.. woo
  21. hey

what are you looking to vinyl?

  22. Yep, did that too! There are so many options of colors/textures, and its pretty easy to do the center console and gear shift knob. The door pieces take a bit of work to get off
  23. haha sorry, I'm away on a business trip... be back and working on it Thursday!
  24. Yeah, I'm really impressed by the black roof. There have been other people on here with black vinyl roofs, but just the top portion. I rally like with covered A pillars and at least part of the c pillars
