  1. Get some video's up on youtube of your "fun" days with the car. People see a wagon and are then knocked out of their shoes when they see the car go. Insane amount of power for the street but must be a blast! (How many miles on the engine block with that much power?) Do you hve the part #of the STi hose? I'm seriously considering doing this now also. Also is the JDM STI booster/MC the same as the USDM STI as far as fitment? Great thread guys!
  2. Spotted a Silver 05-06 LGT sedan parked at the N.Y./L.I. SOB Rd./Hicksville CVS @ 3PMish. Don't know if it was anyone on here.
  3. Spotted an 05-07 Black LGT on Old Country Rd. in Hicksville (NY/LI) @ 3PM today. Also saw a new 2011 (non turbo but hard to tell on only barely csught a glimpse) turning from Old Country Rd. to Jerusalem Ave 5 min later.
  4. Must have been Legacy day at the Tappan Zee. Around 3PM NB on the Tappan a OPB 05/06 LGT Wagon with aftermarket cans. Was going too fast so I didn't get a good look. A few minutes later two OPB LGT sedans one 05/06 (With blue'd light covers?) and one 07/09 coming SB on the opposite side of I87.
  5. At what level of front end drop would this kit be needed? (> 2"?) is it needed for a conservative drop like when using pinks? (1/2" I think)
  6. Bump for a question. RK and KC, what are you using for springs? The Epic's listed here or stock/pinks/etc.?
  7. yup 97-99 GT's were pretty sweet.
  8. Maybe its just the seat airbags? Just swap in 06 seats. That would be pretty cool if the fix was that easy. I'm pretty sure the difference was the torso airbag and maybe an extra beam in the door?
  9. I hear ya. IIHS is a tougher standard than NHTSA. (Offset front and side impact tests @40mhp via SUV I think) There are a few videos on Youtube of when they first reported it too. Not everyone checks or even knows about both. I made that mistake with my previous car.
  10. Here's the full results: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/ratingsbyseries.aspx?id=358
  11. 4/5 wasn't for the 05 side impact test. It received a marginal rating: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/rating.aspx?id=259 That means you aren't getting up and walking away...
  12. Yes and yes, Some of the airbags were actually put in wrong and there was a recall if I remember correctly but the side impact rating went from marginal to good with those two changes you mentioned from 05-06. Front offset impact has always been very good. They also added door reinforcements too but I'm not sure when.
  13. Agreed! I like having a chance of surviving a side impact collision and thats also the reason I bought 06 and not 05. Also I like the "frowning" air intake on the 05-07 models compared to the "smiley" 08-09 Legacy's. Lets face it, Everyone is voting 05 because it was the only year you could get a GRP M/T LGT Wagon! Damn SOA and their evil ways!!!
  14. Very nice! You don't have problems with the front's rubbing? I have 18x8 Enkei RS+M's with 45 offset but the rims stick out further in the front then they do in the rear. Kinda weird but am I the only one with this issue? Had minor rub as a result.
