1. It could, but you will likely have to find the source of the rattle and coushon it.
2. never mind, came over and bought it last week. window tint=yes, no lip or tint on tails. I was just see'in if you knew the condition before i came all that way. It was pretty neglect, and had a few door dings/dents that I had the dent dude Jason pull the day after i bought. Jason did a great job and i've cleaned the hell out of it, all in all it's pretty sweet now.
3. I'm the proud new owner of number 318. I rescued her from neglect by the previous (female) owner a last week. It's taken me a week of cleaning to get her presentable and here she is..............
4. looks like mine is running all the time now. would be no problem to get it swapped but i live on an island w/o a dealership. it's like 20-40 degrees here, can i pull the fuse and keep the fans from running to buy time till i can get it fixed?
5. Hey AKLGT,

Do you happen to know any history on SpecB #318 over there in anchorage?

6. Well, I guess I may have taken what he said too literally...."new green cup". Anyway you're prolly right about the bearings going first, anyone know the P/N or where to get them?
7. Ok, thanks. The link on post 25 doesn't work and the P/N weren't plugging in at fredbeans. I think my cup and bearings are done and I'll need a true rebuild because I am getting binding with tight manuvering. So I'm guessing the DIY rebuild cost a bit more than the original $40 that started this thread? He had mentioned he replaced the cup as well, but doesn't have it on the parts list. I would like to know if he was able to buy the cup and bearings as I don't see them sold even on trademotion.
8. Inigo Montoya, can you post a P/N list (and where you got them from) for the rebuild....bearing, cup, boot and all? I can't seem to find it on fred beans or any OEM catalog.
9. great write up, any chance you can post a parts list for this DIY with part #'s, where to get them, and about what they should cost?
10. Look at the first pics, the clips you are aiming for are the blue one in the middle, and the two white ones about 4-5 inches inside each pillar. Cut the rubber a little bigger than the gap between the window and dash, it should be tight or they will work their way out but not so tight you break the dash or anything. be careful pushing them in, one slip with the screw driver could scratch the dash or black window surround. When they are in the right spot you will be able to see them but they won't be obvious, you have to be looking kinda. good luck, let me know if you need more info.
11. I fixed mine in under 5 minutes. cut chunks of rubber(about 1cmX1cmX3cm) and wedge(used a big flat head) them between the window and dash at 3 points where those clips are, it puts pressure on them and keeps them from moving. sorry, i could have told you about this a year ago-i was driving up the alcan and something had to be done.
12. stoplightassasin, did you flash mickeyd stage1? if so how does the car feel?
13. His STi sounds great, and it's easier to do than ours cuase there is only one can. umm, i'll let him post it over thur, i'm sure they'd be all for it, after all they are the ones that came up with the garage door seal as a front lip.
14. extra! extra! read all about it....STi get hogged! Hogzaust strikes again!!! last week my buddy got the new STi, he was asking me what exhaust i went with. told him i'd hook him up for free in under 15 min and if he wasn't satisfied i'd undo it for free under 15 min. yup, you guessed it... hooked, thanx hogmeat.
15. I have an '05 gt, but they swaped the ecu when they did the cooling fan relay. I don't know what year ecu they put back in, will that matter with this cable?
16. umm....what? the hogzaust? or pst-pst-pst? hogzaust vid is at the begining of this thread.
17. I did this last weekend, I haven't got a chance drive it but I like what I hear in the garage. Is there any way to keep it from making the pst-pst-pst-pst at idle? I pulled the old mystery game with my pops, telling him i could do it to his for around $100. He tought it sounded good and would make a great scam. Thanks Hog, i love the boxer burbble, when are you taking aplications for authorized dealer/installers? consider this my Ap for the Alaska region!
