Illumination fuse.
lilbrudder replied to lilbrudder's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Sorry, i haven't dug into mine so I'm not really sure yet. Does your fuse blow immediately when you turn on the light? -
Any pics of your new setup? bump

I wish it was that easy. -
Can anyone tell me what their voltage is on the fuse inside the car for illumination? My backlit buttons are not working, and the first has some voltage but not 12. Thanks

10 inch subwoofer installed in my spec b's rear deck
lilbrudder replied to lilbrudder's topic in Interior/Audio
Sorry, I missed the last couple replies. I do have factory head unit with Bluetooth mod via jazzy, I'm using a line level converter that's built into the amp, so it does adjust through the unit. It was a bit of a challenge, took me all day and I use to install for circuit city. The top spacer was the most difficult part, as the deck had several changes in elevation so I ended up doing a lot of shaving the spacer and recheck the fitment. As you can see there is only one tensioner(it came with 2) I removed the other as it would not fit, then I installed a set of springs to help lift and keep the trunk open. I used a pneumatic metal saw(like a jig saw) to enlarge the hole.the tensioner doesn't really rattle, but the rear deck was rattling bad so I put several pieces of foam to tighten it up. It sounds and feels great, but I think fabricating a long sealed box on the underside would likely yield a significant gain in overall performance(I estimate a third). -

Started tuning the sound and rattle dampening and I found one of my rca inputs had unplugged during install...now it sounds and feels like what I expected. -
10 inch subwoofer installed in my spec b's rear deck

Thanks. The infinity kappa 10 in is supposed the best free air for 2018, so that's why I chose it...but I have been thinking of fabing a box to the under deck... It's the brick red interior in the original 500 spec b's btw. -
Well I spent all day yesterday installing an infinity kappa 1000w 10"in the rear deck where the factory 8"cutout was. I did have to enlarge the hole and build a spacer. The sub is being powered by infinity kappa k600 amp. In all honesty I'm not sure if it is worth it. I do still need to tune it, but I'm a bit underwhelmed...it's good, but I was hoping for more punch.

FAQ: Offsets, Sizes for Rims and Tires on the GT! Xenonk Version! - Vol 2

Thanks, I see what you mean. I am not lowered at all, but it would probably still have clearance issues. -

Looking for some input.. I couldn't resist picking up a nice set of 18x8 enki wheels today...I was initially planning on putting them on my bmw(which is what they came from), but I think the spec b would be better for them. So my problem is they are 5x120 with an inset of 42. I see I can get lug adapters that are 15mm thick, so will those along with the 42 inset cause an issue running 225/40/18 tires? -
Got mine all set up to stream music via Bluetooth, Only cost like $7. It works really well, I am using a usb Bluetooth receiver that I have hardwired underneath the center console. whenever I turn on the car it powers on and auto connects to my phone, sound quality seems the same as with using the aux Jack, which is great with my droid having beats audio. The bt only receives media sound, so for call sound I plug into the aux Jack. Loving this setup, thanks leptronix you saved me from buying a caska.
