  1. Spotted a BSM 05/06 LGT sedan w/ gold rims, roof racks, and an i-club sticker in front of Mimi's Cafe/BJ's Brewhouse in Natomas at around 4 p.m. today. Irrational Exuberance, was that you?
  2. Is there really a restaurant called "Pho Kim" and pronounced like "f@#k him"? We have several pho restaurants in Sacramento called "Pho King."
  3. No, but you can compensate for it somewhat in sedans by ordering wagon rear springs.
  4. Before the "saggy butt" spacers became available, the only spring/strut combo option to get an even stance w/ a wagon was to mix and match different springs. My LGT wagon is running Bilstein HDs w/ pinks in front and JDM LGT wagon springs in back. The fender gap is an even two-finger gap front and rear. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v374/101/16/536748931/n536748931_1159186_1915.jpg
  5. Most, if not all, racks are designed for self installation. Obviously, if you are contemplating a hitch mount rack and you don't already have a receiver hitch, that's another thing you need to install. IMO, if you need to have a rack professionally installed, you probably lack the mechanical wherewithal to actually use the rack.
  6. I'm jealous. Carving corners on Highway 1 in Mendocino County while I was working?
  7. At around 12:45 p.m. today, I followed a blue 05-06 LGT wagon onto I-5 south from the Del Paso Road/El Centro Road intersection in Natomas. I suspect we're neighbors, as I've seen this car several times near this same intersection.
  8. Spotted a blue 05-06 LGT wagon today shortly after 2:30 p.m. on the westbound US 50 to northbound I-5 on-ramp. Gave the bespectacled gentleman a thumbs up as I passed him.
  9. I'm running both Yakima crossbars w/ Steelhead bike racks and a Sportworks hitch mount bike rack. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v374/101/16/536748931/n536748931_1159187_2869.jpg
  10. Doesn't your 3.0R have Bilsteins? If so, the Eibachs probably aren't the best choice, as they are designed for the stock KYBs that came on non-Spec B and 3.0R USDM Legacies and LGTs. They will ride taller in front w/ your Bilsteins and Bilstein style top hats.
  11. I believe stock USDM Spec B and 3.0R Bilsteins are the same as JDM LGT Rev. C. Bilstein HDs are more stiffly valved. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61108 Pinks are a pretty mild upgrade and should work w/ the bump stop mod.
  12. Eibachs are designed for the stock LGT KYB front struts and top hats rather than the Bilsteins that came on the Spec B and your 3.0R. The fronts will be end up being approximately 5/8" higher than they would be on the KYB struts and tophats. Your best bet would be to use a spring that's designed for use with Bilsteins such as pinks, Swifts, Ions, etc.
  13. During the spring a few years ago, a friend and I attempted to ride our motorcycles out to French Meadows Reservoir via Mosquito Ridge Road. We made it about 2/3 of the way until we ran into a wall of snow.
  14. Sounds like fun. I like Mosquito Ridge Road just out of Foresthill.
  15. Red LGT wagon spotted today around 1 p.m. at my office complex in Natomas.
  16. Pinks are rated at 15 mm (.6") drop with Bilsteins, but the drop in front will be closer to 1" w/ the stock struts and likely with Konis due to the use of KYB style tophats.
  17. You could even try your stock springs with the Konis if you don't want any drop. The Ralliteks should be fairly similar to the Eibachs, as I believe Eibach made them for Rallitek for use on the stock KYB-style top hats.
  18. Depends on your struts/top hats. If you are keeping your original KYB struts or using Koni inserts with the stock KYB style top hats, Ralliteks are probably your best bet. If you're going to go with Bilsteins and Bilstein-style, i.e., Spec B, top hats, go with pinks, Wangan, or JDM LGT wagon springs.
  19. Given the "916" in your username, I would suggest a "Keep Tahoe Blue" sticker.
  20. Saw two LGTs today: 1) silver LGT sedan w/ racks and a mountain bike at the confluence of the North Fork and Middle Fork American Rivers in the Auburn State Recreation Area and 2) white LGT wagon in East Sac at the corner of McKinley and 36th.
  21. On Sunday, Nov. 1, at around 11:15 a.m., I saw a white LGT wagon, pretty stock looking, on I-80 in Sacramento that got off at the Northgate Blvd. exit.
  22. Or mix pinks front and JDM LGT wagon springs rear like I did. The saggy butt shims weren't available back then.
  23. Lemme guess--it looked just like the car in my avatar.
  24. Black LGT wagon on NB I-5 just south of Arbuckle at around 2:10 p.m. yesterday (Sunday, 8/30). I was headed south w/ a bike on the roof.
