  1. From everything I read, the LC-1 was the least recommended. I went with the PLX, but read the AEM UEGO is also a good choice. Note that I haven't installed it or used it with this gauge, just sharing my choice after what I read.
  2. Oh dang. Going all Hicksta on us, Franz?
  3. I'm up there fairly regularly. It's just a popular road where a lot of car people hang out and drive up and down. Mainly younger kids with ricey cars but there's some Subarus and other nicer ones, too. Friday and Saturday nights are when it's busy.
  4. I have a set of Magnaflow mufflers sitting around doing nothing. Could have a muffler shop create a cat back using those. lol
  5. You should shoot me a PM or something if you'll be up there one of these nights, I'll come join. I usually hit up Hwy 100 at some point on the weekend to goof off with some friends and watch the kids act a fool.
  6. Oddly enough, we actually had to leave my girlfriend's BMW with Two Guys because the electrical system acted up on the way to pick up my LGT. She's pissed because it's a cool $800 to get the alternator and ignition systems back up to par. 70k on that car and she's put probably $5k into it in the last couple years. Reminds me why I'll never own one. We spoke with Nate, he was very nice. Maybe I'll have them do some maintenance stuff on my LGT soon.
  7. Had my car professionally detailed by Sir Waxer in Greenfield (Milwaukee area near Hwy 100) today. A friend of mine has worked there for ages and they do a great job, if anyone is interested. Prices are normal and competitive, but they're fast and have exceptional service. Here's their Facebook page with more info. My friend's name is Brian, and say you heard about it from Aken if he asks. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7212/7069270395_355f3e17b8_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7105/6923192456_e416120c10_b.jpg
  8. I used to work in that business park, back in 2010-11.
  9. Oh man. I just went through this whole thread, and I can't wait to get my hands on one of the gauges. I can also thank the feedback from various people for helping me decide what wideband setup to go with. I'm likely going to get the wideband and tune BEFORE the gauge due to funds, but once it's all together it'll be freaking sweet. One thing I didn't see mentioned anywhere, and I'm having a hard time finding: Where is a good place to tape into the vacuum line if you're running a 50/50 BOV? I'm not sure if the line off the BOV is still appropriate since part of the pressure is being released to the atmosphere. Quality product you've got here, lossol. Well done!
  10. Hehe true. And you don't want to see it, it's stock and boring.
  11. Hey, only I'm allowed to have ABP. You get out of here!
  12. It was a Subaru day for me out in Waukesha - I must've seen like 6-8 Legacy's within an hour. Way more than usual.
  13. Franz, you're the tuner nazi out in the Shaw area, right? Ristau keeps recommending that I get my LGT done by you. I'm just poor, haha. Haven't seen your car around yet, but then again i don't drive much.
  14. I use some basic Armor All cleaning products for the leather. Works well enough to clean them up. And I will be in the Dells for Automotion, yup yup.
  15. Brookfield or West Allis are fairly central locations. 'Stallis is also a bit popular with the Hwy 100 cruising scene (mostly ricers, but there's cool people up there, too). Just depends on when you want to meet and what people want to do. Can always do a little cruise to fun, out of the way locations. Like maybe Kiltie drive in in Oconomowoc or something like that.
  16. I don't hit the east side often. In the summer you're more likely to see my bike(s) down there than my car. My LGT also looks stock, so unless you hear it, it's easy to miss. Looks nice, though. Congrats on the new car.
  17. Yup! We didn't shop there, though - just parked a car there so we could car pool down to Ikea.
  18. My DWS's have handled well. Wish I had something stickier for summer, but whatever. I'm poor. Coming home from Illinois last night, I took advantage of a small patch of parking lot snow. http://distilleryimage7.instagram.com/0a51b91a666e11e18bb812313804a181_7.jpg
  19. I figure if it's going to be winter and cold, we might as well get some snowy fun out of it. Otherwise what's the point? I didn't go out and enjoy it at all tonight. I'll have fun shoveling and driving to Racine tomorrow.
  20. I've got two sportbikes now that eat up most of my shenanigan time during the nicer months. Bummer that your girl convinced you to give it up - I'm glad mine doesn't! She just says I can't spend every spare cent on my toys. Gotta give a bit to her
  21. I'm game, if I can make my car look reasonably nice. The poor car gets ignored when nice weather comes around.
  22. My mostly stock-looking ABP makes appearances on Bluemound near Kopps - my girlfriend works in that strip mall there. Otherwise I live kinda by Carroll College. I try to wave to any that I see.
  23. Actually saw this color locally yesterday, looks awesome!
