  1. So the box says not to gap the plugs... I purchased the LFR7AIX.
  2. Ok... I will finally begin this project this evening. I'm hoping the plugs are the only cause of my misfiring. UPS didn't bring my plugs until late Monday when it was almost already dark and I've had to work all week so I will update later...
  3. So did you get the new plugs in? I'm just waiting for UPS to get to my house! I paid extra for 3 day shipping and I bought these damn things on Thursday, so they better be here by now!
  4. Good luck man let me know how it goes as I will be doing the same on Monday. You going with the LFR7AIX?
  5. Yeah I had to install my factory downpipe and I also unmarried my AP when I had some warranty work done and I was still misfiring. I totally agree as well but I'm Stage 2+ and I planned on upgrading the plugs and the injectors anyways so it's alright for now. I'll keep ya posted.
  6. I'm sure it's just plugs so it's cool. I plan on upgrading everthing anyways so here is the first step.
  7. I threw 2 CELs and it is two cylinders. I planned on going a step colder on plugs anyways so if this doesn't fix it, I can change the coil. I can clear and read CELs with my AccessPORT.
  8. Yeah I'll order my plugs right now. It shouldn't be too hard to do. Do I need a tune for them or anything?
  9. The dealership recommends OEM plugs otherwise I will start misfiring, they say. I'm at 38k and I've been misfiring since 33k, I believe. I'm Stage 2+... Is everybody happy with their colder plugs? The dealership wants $17 per spark plug (OEM) and $135 labor... It was a pain in the ass on my '98 Outback and I hear it's even harder on the LGT. Is it worth it?
  10. So if I want to go one stop colder, which ones do you recommend?
  11. I miss how easy it was to work on my Honda, but damn I love my Subarus and their crazy boxer motors.
  12. Wow. Killer write up. I changed the plugs on my 98 Outback, and holy sh!t that sucked. It almost would've been easier to pull the motor out! There is absolutely no room in there. I just threw a CEL for two misfiring cylinders. I'm assuming it's time to change the plugs? 38k miles and Stage 2+. What plugs and what temp does everybody recommend???
  13. I just bought this part... It's a very common bolt. I forget the part number, but it was pretty easy to find at the dealership. It was like $8.
  14. I went to Subaru parts and they gave me an effin' bolt when I asked for the turbo to downpipe stud. The dude said that was the only thing connecting the turbo to the downpipe. I have an awesome exhaust leak the comes right into the cabin. I will head to Subaru tomorrow to check this out. Thanks!
  15. Actually, I was checking out a 2007 Spec B and I opened the ashtray and there is an auxilary input there with the letters AUX. Maybe they moved it for other models?
  16. The ashtray! It actually looks kind of goofy and I don't know if I like the placement so much.
