  2. I have sawmill and lumberjack, go from the tree hugger site. also CF version 3.1.24.309
  3. I think I will save up and spend a little more, so it is a direct fit. Also, I am playing with the CF program and how do you get treehugger to work in it? I am able to bring up rom raider, but it goes to the editer,I want to use it for the guages. Thanks!
  4. Wow, just wow, 36 pages and 6-7 hours later, I finally made it to the end, found the info I wanted, except one thing, How bad is the replacement cubby bezel(JDM) I really want a factory look, and I want to be able to just drop in a screen and go. I know it will be more, but I want the plug and play ability if possible. Thanks! Also, if you want to put the carpc in the factory radio spot and haven't seen this: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/dual-hvac-double-din-kit-now-working-113589.html?t=113589&highlight=jdm
  5. depends on the pic, the one with black carpet is carlcurry, the other is mine. I used pics from both of our installs to do the DIY
  6. Just a quick spot for the bridgestone 960's had extreme sport contacts, toyo proxy, goodyear revision spec c's and of course the re92's and the 960's preform by far the best. Although its all CA driving.... haven't gotten to play in the snow though...
  7. you still run hifonics amps? I have a 2005d in my LGT and love it!
  8. Saw a silver(ish at night) 08-09 legacy outside of Cambridge MN tonight(saturday) at around 630. I was the slow white car, my LGT is in CA, I am home visiting family and very much missing my AWD and new tires...lol
  9. Before you start, Here is the link to the original thread: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113589 Also, here is a parts list: JDM Double Din adapter H6217AG911 http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.p...5e5f01d0bc7e63 3 harnesses from SVX Dc -14 pin audio cable -i88 adapter harness -i85 adapter harness(this is only needed for steering wheel controls, OEM Nav, OEM Aux in, some factory subs, and/or Dimmer cancellation) JDM Hazard switch(optional, but I will be using it) First Pull out your old radio, do a search, if you don't know how to do this. Wire in your 14 pin harness and i88 harness with your new radio harness: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2570925&postcount=637 Next, Cut out part of your dash... Before: http://i49.tinypic.com/fzbzb.jpg After: http://i45.tinypic.com/11gk0vm.jpg Install your hazard switch on the faceplate(2 screws): http://i48.tinypic.com/255hwky.jpg File in 2 places to allow for closer alignment:*NOTE file on both left and right tabs(one side of tab) Bottom of HVAC module: http://i45.tinypic.com/2cehx6w.jpg Top of shifter bezel: http://i45.tinypic.com/23sxd8z.jpg Assemble your HVAC, Faceplate, and Radio; as the instruction that came with the kit note there should be 3 screws for each side: http://i50.tinypic.com/nycm00.jpg The wire(black) that came with the kit needs to be attached to one of the screws going into your radio. Install the assembly into your car, making sure everything is plugged in. Re assemble and your done http://i49.tinypic.com/4fwrnl.jpg Special Note, This is the "simple" version, if you have steering wheel controls, nav, etc. you may or will need to do more things to keep functionality. You may also paint the shifter bezel to match the black HVAC, like the photo above. Please refer to the link above for more information.
  10. oh yea, I was at vandenberg, but I am back home now at Pt Hueneme, its a navy base, just north of LA.
  11. I'm a T2T351 aka I am a mechanic, but currently an instructor, hence first "T". Give me a call when you get out here. I can definitely help you with open source. My advice to you is to get your stage 2 parts and injectors or what not that your going to get, and then get a tune from infamous. He does a great job, helped me with my valve timing and my car is smooth as a butterfly. Open source is pretty easy, if you get a map from infamous1 you could probably get him to teach you some basics, I am sure he will anyways, but just a few basics of what to look for in a data log. either way go online to ebay and get a obd2 to USB cable(if you have 05-06) they are about 20$ its great for data logging and your going to need it for the infamous tune as well. If you haven't learned by the time you get here, I will help you out. but I still recomend getting a set of maps from infamous1 though.
