  1. I thought this could be done for 100? Do we need 4 of them?
  2. great write up. Two things maybe to add: one you can hit the defroster button to start logging to file, a little safer that fiddeling with the computer(I leave my lid closed while I do a pull) and two I test write with before I flash with ECU flash, its a precautionary measure to make sure I didn't screw anything up(and it has saved me b4)
  3. I meant that I would already be under the car and full of grease...lol
  4. yea I am more focused on the 5EAT mod your working on, but I figure the next thing after the VB is going to have to be the center dif. If I can do both at the same time, it would be much better!
  5. climber D your all over the place. I would also like to get info/order these
  6. Same story second verse as before months ago with me... They actually kind of tick me off...
  7. accept pre-payment from those that want to donate... ie if someone donates to you, you will take it off their order, if this doesn't happen, which I doubt, no repayment of funds...you just donated for his time..
  8. if you want to drive a really good set up, take out a 135i auto. Thats the way our car should feel.
  9. I actually have offered my car more than once, but they gave me a "we will call you when we need you" response. Kind of ticks me off, that 1. I am willing to loose my car for a few weeks and 2. it seems like they are just giving me the run around. Unless you can talk with them and change thier mind....lol
  10. There is a plug under there.... Man I need to get under there more....lol I just remembered the 15 million bolts...I hate Transmissions...
  11. Great minds think alike! Thanks for the help with the tune BTW(not to threadjack) I took your right side WGDC with my left. came out pretty nice... little bit left to work on though
  12. trust me I understand, I had to front 300$ for the JDM DD kit before I knew if it was going to work... and my wife would have KILLED me if it didn't On a side note... to save you a bit of $, look into drillind a hole in the pan and taping in a drain. That way you atleast can reuse your ATF and keep spillage to a minimum. also will make life a lot easier. Just an idea.
  13. in the time it took me to read this thread 3 people posted, and my question was answered...lol
  14. LGT 5eat car year? 06 IPT VB mod already performed? No Are you willing to pay close to but less than IPT prices (perhaps again) for a proper shift kit modification performed by fellow 5eat performance enthusiast ClimberD himself? Yea... in time... don't have the money yet... Would you be willing to do the spring mod for like 100$ if people were to send in their VB to you. Would't be as good, I know, but for some of us "broke @$$" folk.. be another option.
  15. Read the first post., go here: HERE Some people will never learn

  18. Thats what I am planning on doing! lol You stole my idea!! Or did I steal yours? Glad to hear it works, takes the mystery out of it!
  19. I think you are.... Also I pull a camper, a trailer, and a few G's:lol:
  20. check your transmission fluid right behind your engine on the left side(driver) Its down in the bay a bit and my arm was always getting cut up(before I took off the engine cover and put it up in my garage). As for the tranny cooler mod, I don't remember where or who said it, but it was in multiple places when I was looking at it. I actually did it when I was stage 1. Its really easy to put in too.
  21. I was told that you should put the tranny cooler on b4 stage 2, stage 2 is supposed to create a lot more heat. What color is your transmission fluid, or rather what shade of red?
  22. If thats the ending price though, it would be sweet! Also, Did we decide whether or not the resistor is a go/no go also the requested torque? Is it making a difference or not? I tow a descent amount, and i really want to keep bad stuff from happening. Plus I would like the shifts to stiffen up a bit...
  23. I have had that happen a few times(3/4), in 40K miles...
