I applogize guys but thursday doesn't work for me for two reasons, got an ice hockey game in the evening and I quit smoking a month ago and probably shouldn't be at a smoking lounge. If you can reschedule to another time/location, maybe the rio restaruarant right behind the robusto room on another night I could make it.

Congrats on the VF52, how are you liking it so far?
-
NOOOO
one year off for this thing. my pins are all wrong.
anyone want to buy mine before i look into a return/refund?
if it's any consolation, I found the cable I need, 1 week and 20 bucks late
Is the cable you bought for an 05 lgt? I would pick it up from you locally if you're looking to get rid of it, pm me and let me know.

.....yipes.... get with Ted, he may be able to give you some pointers on getting Turbo builders to own up to their mistakes!
I never heard how ted's incident ultimately panned out, did he get his money back? Thankfully FP admitted fault and said that the bearing housing popped out or failed. They said it was the first time they had seen a failure like this before and were presuming it was an isolated incident. Brian at FP said he would have it rebuilt and shipped out tomorrow. I've been really impressed with FP's respone time and action about this. I have no problem with a mistake being made, it just bothers me when people won't correct their mistake. The turbo should arrive saturday or monday at the latest. Definitely a big relief to be getting back into my beloved lgt.
-
I was on a plane to DC so I missed the RR meet. Looks like there was a great turnout...
TommyPenguin - what's the status of your motor?
My motor is good, the turbo is the culprit of my failure and it had been fully rebuilt from FP with all new center section. It sounds like it might take FP a while to get me another turbo if they even will own up to their mistake. I would hate to have to put back on the vf40, depending on what FP will do and how long it takes, it might be the end result. I could not afford to wait 6 weeks for another rebuild. I called today and left a voice mail but haven't heard back, definitely will be blowing up their on phone on my lunch till I can get a hold of them. I

Next week will be judgement week on the engine, if I'm lucky and its just a head gasket I should be back on the road by next weekend if I need a new shortblock my ride will be down for a few weeks. Anyword from Subaru Adam?
-
Wow that sucks. Did you make your Dad sign the paper that says you break it you buy it?
That does suck man I really hope you don't run into a costly issue like myself. Bad week for the local legacies.http://legacygt.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif
-
Nick, I am sorry to hear that. I bet you are really stressed right now. I hope the damage is not too bad and doesn't cost too much money.
Tragedy strikes, my oil looked like a milkshake when I drained it last night, minimum of head gasket gone out, didn't see any metal flakes on the plug, but time will tell if I have a cracked ringland, or other engine damage. I'm working on getting estimates for replacing the headgaskets and for upgrading internals. I will get the pressure test/leakdown done when I get my car towed to the shop. I might still make the meet and just catch a ride with Sean, didn't want to miss it.
-
Wow! Sorry to hear that... time for a built block? Might just be a leaky head gasket.... get it fixed before warpage.
I'm going to have my car towed to SubaPerformance on saturday and probably hear from them on monday about the leakdown/compression test.
-
Its not looking good, white smoke out of the tail pipes. If I have a blown motor my lgt will turn me into the out of green machine. http://legacygt.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif Going to get a compression/leakdown test done this week. We'll see what happens.
-
I appologize guys but I don't think I'll be making it to this meet, my car is not doing to hot to say the least. Have fun and take a lot of pics.
-
My brother is out, couldn't get out of being a married man for a weekend, what can you do?
-
^ That is correct. See you there.
-
I will be there buddy. Sounds like me might have a pre-meet at AMC to go to the meet!
Looking like we should have a good 'pre-meet' turnout, my brother might be joining us with his turbo hayabusa motorcycle if its nice weather and of course with wife approval. Also my friend Adam with a wrx, haha not collegemt, a different adam should be coming along.
-
If you guys don't mind, can I meet up with you guys at the AMC24? I'll be coming from Castle Rock, so it would be on my way.
Definitely, anyone who wants to meet up with us at AMC 24 is more than welcome. I'm going to post our meet up location on awdpirates.net in the red rocks thread there, I anticipate rounding up some other suby locals.
-
What kind of bike do you have?
-
Brett, there will be a seat waiting for you. It will be fun should we plan on meeting up at the amc 24 parking lot like last time off of c-470 and broadway at 1030am?
-
Sure sounds good, anyone else in the highlands ranch area want to meet up with us for this meet? Enthusiast, Han?
-
Hello again, everyone. I'll plan on being be there on the 21st. Green, Nick? Badass. I need to spend more time on the boards...
It will be nice to see you again richard, been a minute. I am loving the green, definitely made up for my low numbers I made on my snow tires when we dynoed earlier this year. How's your wagon coming, anything in the mod pipeline coming up?
-
Red Rocks meet for awdpirates.net on September 21st, its a sunday at 11am, whos going from the lgt forum? I was planning on attending.
-
Tommypenguin, were you happy w/ Revolutions as well? I'm prob gonna get a protune here soon. Anything I should know or plan for in doing this?
Scotty, I loved my tune, my car is actually back at revolutions right now for round 2 on getting tuned. I would recommend them for sure.
-
I don't think I will be able to make, possibly the July weekend, but for now I will say I'm out.
-
I've used AA before, they did great work on my custom exhaust on my last car.
