  1. Just purchased this. will have some photos of the quality when i get it!
  2. Anyone know where to get this grille? Their website does not show it anymore and Japanparts.com doesn't have it.
  3. I went to a local Subie guru and had him did a transmission flush with Subaru ATF and BG additives. The fluid were discolored but no too bad looking. Funny thing is after the flush, the car still drives the same as it did before. Nothing changed at all. I guess that's a good thing?
  4. You do require to turn the steering wheel to full lock both directions. All the ones I've done has been successfully clean and no problems at all. It helps if you have another person turn the steering wheel while the other is working with the bleeder to suck all the fluid out. It's just another suggestion on doing the service without having to jack up the car and what not.
  5. A quicker and most efficient way is to buy a vacuum bleeder and hook it up to a air compressor. Sucks out all the old fluid in seconds. It leaves no mess and easily done in minutes.
  6. What's the consensus on the tranny fluid? Is OEM fluid good enough or is there a god-liked fluid that does wonders for our tranny?
  7. Yeah. I guess the heat has gotten to the plastic tabs making it very brittle. I barely touch it with my thumb and it fell apart So from that one mistake, I did the rest of the plugs without taking the connectors off.
  8. I did zippy tied the broken one. It seem to hold just fine. Word of advice, don't remove the coil pack connectors. They will break!
  9. I did the spark plugs today. Everything went find until i broke the little tabs to the coil pack. Does anyone know where to get these little replacement connectors? or a new harness? I've used the the_3d_man's pic for reference. http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b425/the_3d_man/Spark%20Plug%20Change/IMAG0362.jpg
  10. Here's my install of SeeeeeYa's BP kit. The initial install was a bit of a pain but overall it wasn't too terribly bad. I'm glad I did this because the intercooler tabs is beginning to come apart. Also, I notice the oily residue on the side of the intercooler, even worst on the backside. So I'm relieve for now thinking about the endtanks going to come apart - The intercooler brackets didn't sit flush. It took a little bit of hammering to get it in there. - The lower bolt as mention, rubs onto the large (bpv?) hose and also run into the brake booster hose. - After the installed, I had to man handle the intercooler into the throttle body side to get the coupling sitting "flush". Because the bolt has pressing onto the large bpv hose. - The engine cover didn't sit flush because of the brake booster vaccum hose couldn't sit flush down far enough. So the cover bulge on the driver side. I got rid of the push in tabs for a screw on tabs so the cover sits flush. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3155-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3151-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3162-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3166-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3163-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3164-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3165-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3174-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3175-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3176-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3177-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3171-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3178-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3170-4.jpg
