I didn't want to rub your U.S. noses in it but since you mention it...
It's probably that the trims between all four windows on each side of the car are painted gloss back on Aussie cars versus unpainted plastic on U.S. cars. It makes a big difference. Plus our front grilles are painted gloss metallic dark grey instead of silver plastic.

That's what I'd like to do. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a fuse in the fuse box under the dash that is only for the dome lighting. I think it would be too difficult to tap into the wiring in the headlining and then thread the new wire down a pillar to the footwell... does anyone have any other ideas about how I could get this to work?
Please excuse this potentially dumb question from a suspension novice - if the RSB tightens handling without harming the ride, why wouldn't Subaru fit them as standard equipment?
