  1. I was exploring the possibility of going flexfuel with Delicious Tuning, and my other friend who's a master mechanic at Ferrari strongly recommend that I don't surpass 350wtq cuz our tranny is basically a 5 speed design and can't take that much. I'm currently already sitting at 350 so I'm not sure if it's worth going thru all that trouble to make little more power, there's also no e85 station in the 50mi radius...
  2. Whoa... you going FlexFuel? Did your tuner limit torque to 350 because of the tranny?
  3. Yeah rear camber will be around -1, my rear fenders are cut already, idk if it needs to be trimmed even more if I go to -1 or beyond. I think what I want to address is the front body roll but still stay relatively neutral. Maybe the 24mm Whiteline FSB with their 20mm rsb? Are there any other FSB options?
  4. DD Setup Camber F:-1.5, R:-1.5 (will probably adjust rear to -1) Toe: 0 Tires: 245/40/19 hankook v12 evo2s Bilsteins/Swifts SPC rear adjustable LCA AVO front +castor LCA bushing Whiteline roll center kit Rallitek rear hd endlinks OE 19mm rsb Right now there's a very slight understeer, but mostly neutral under normal driving and very forgiving. I'm used to having much bigger F/R sways on my 4gen thou, any recommendations?
  5. Anyone recommend a good F/R sway bar set since we are on the subject? I really like my current setup, I think a slightly larger fsb would be a good final touch. I'm on the 19mm RSB atm.
  6. I'm pretty sure my synapse eng. synchronic BPV doesn't leak.
  7. I did everything at the same time so that's not something I had to do, but I don't think the racer-x chargepipe have the exact same size as the OEM one, so wouldn't that require a retune?
  8. Divorced, plate, or bellmouth, its all the same and don't make a difference of more than +/- 5hp, doesn't help with boost creep because people with divorced dp still gets it if wg itself remains the same (this is true for the small OEM IHI turbo, different aftermarket turbo design may have different results). You should read up on Nasioc about different DP types. That was the reason why I didn't go through with the group buy. Doesn't matter it's twin dump, divorced with lip extension, bellmouth, or simple plate type; our boost creep has to do with the 90 degree turn in our IHI turbo wg. The only way nameless's twin dump DP can make a difference is if you get an aftermarket turbo with the same split design and they match up. Some people say the cheaper plate design is best for oem small turbo because it blocks the wg port and slows down exhaust flow a bit to help with the creep build up. Being catted is one thing that they all agree to have helped. So it seems that there's no other way around porting or EWG. So in other words, I'll just keep my invidia catted DP and save myself the $ and trouble. If I was in the market for DP no question I would get the Nameless one, but based on research on people who have tested different types of DP, there's no difference when it comes to boost creep.
  9. FYI, if yall get TMIC and tune, then decide to use chargepipe later, you have to tune again. Also if yall don't port the turbo with DP and get creep to 21-22psi, charepipe may not hold up.
  10. OP you can try SPC's Performance Rear Adjustable Camber Arm (67660), it comes with a round toe adjuster that needs to be installed with the arm so you can increase your OEM toe adj range. SPC is good stuff man, I've been running on it for a few months now.
  11. My Koni yellows set will be for sale when it's off my car tomorrow, I don't need anyone's stock struts. I've had them for roughly 5k miles, never tracked or abused.
  12. Small rub unfortunately, I just find some black heat proof cloth and tuck behind it. The BPV response is so fast because its synchronic type. No issue after tune, car runs great. Mine is AB (standard) -Gary
  13. It is confirmed, Synapse BPV (08 WRX flange) works with the chargepipe just fine. Only trimmed the chargepipe side of the engine cover to make it work with the rc-x tmic. http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/F_zpsba7be23f.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/E_zpsbde2d043.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/G_zpsb4a6e81c.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/H_zps4cdbceaa.jpg
  14. Next Saturday with Bryan (Racer-X) along with the TMIC, chargepipe, Perrin coupler, and DW200 fuel pump. Will tune at Church Automotive right after which is only 10 mins from his location. :)
  15. Looks like it's a go for me, plenty of space for the 08 WRX/05-09LGT flange type Synapse BPV. http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/20140814SynapseBPV3_zpsc8d844ad.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/20140814SynapseBPV4_zpscacf3340.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/20140814SynapseBPV2_zpsbedcc871.jpg http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s253/blklgt05/20140814SynapseBPV1_zpsb6b24504.jpg Racer-X's example http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u156/itsmebryan/WP_20130921_019_zps644ca7b5.jpg acumenhokie's example http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=189363&d=1407488258 From acumenhokie's setup, you can see his custom intake air box is bigger than OEM, looks like there's plenty of space if you are under normal setup. -Gary
  16. Yeah it looks like you have the evo x BPV, and they probably cut the wrx flange off to make it work. I have the same one, but I bought the wrx flange adapter to make it work. Do you feel theres another 3/4 inch to one inch space?
  17. Yeah, drink coconut water. If there's a Trader Joe's in your area, try their coconut water. Taste much better than every other brand I've had for some reason.
