  1. hi there do you mind if i ask why you passed on that AP for $350? Thanks.
  2. That was me in the ABP wagon Saturday. On the way back from the meet in Davis. nice looking sedan. Waved at my lady friend huh? That was either my wife or daughter depending on which one you were waving at... no worries. ;-) Saturday I also saw a silver wagon heading West on 80 near Longview, couldn't see much detail - and then another silver wagon, black wheels, West on 80 near Madison. It was a GT rich day!
  3. That ABP wagon on 12/30 was me. You have a nice clean looking OBP. I noticed the no-plate yet - just pick up the car?
  4. I finally got around to doing this last weekend and it went as smoothly as possible. Everything was exactly as pictured and i giot it done in about a half hour. I even included the no shut off when brights on part. It is as clean as can be and now I have my own control over the foglights like I prefer. Thanks !!! I guess it is time to become a donating member. After the holidays....
  5. nope - not black. It had BBS mesh wheels plate was NUBARU I really liked how subtle it looked.
  6. Monday evening (6/30) at The Fountains in Roseville - 1997 (I'm guessing) white wagon, tinted windows and lowered, COBB decal on the side window. Looked good and subtle.
  7. On westbound 80 in Sacramento between Antelope and Capitol City Freeway - saw a white sedan, tinted rear windows but appeared otherwise stock - I was the one on the ABP Wagon with tinted windows...
  8. Sunday night outside The Cheesecake Factory at the Roseville Galleria: Silver Spec B - or at least had Spec B wheels.
  9. Just got a quick look at what looked like a family filled ABP sedan in Rocklin. Near Blue Oaks and Fairway, about 8:00 pm. I was in the ABP Wagon
  10. but is it possible to buy just the calipers> I think that is going to be the hard part.
  11. HI all - looks like there hasn't been any discussion here for a while and I didn't see this specific question addressed so here I go: I want to keep my stock wheels and since the LGT rotors are so nice and big I don't feel the need to go REALLY big. However, I would like better calipers (more pistons?) not to mention ones that look better since they are so easily seen through the wheels. Maybe something that is (or looks like) a solid piece? I am thinking of painting the calipers just for a bit nicer look (rather than the bare metal) but the multi-piece design of the calipers isn't exactly the best looking. However, if it turns out that the stock calipers are the best choice functionally, I can live with the looks ('twould be dumb to change for looks only if I step down in performance). Jeez - did i get overly wordy, or what? So anyway, any ideas on upgrading the caliper only on stock, or stock size, rotors? Thanks, Sean
  12. I just finished doing this on mine - no soldering, switched the wires without cutting. very clearn very cool and now lights in the front and main cabin. Thanks everyone for all your input and suggestions!
  13. I undertstand the descriptions - basically - I am just hoping for a picture of where you connected up in the map light housing and wiring so I can make sure to get it right and not blow anything expensive. Pictures are always best. Thanks
  14. I am looking forward to doing this mod. I am very comfortable with wiring and everything but not with soldering. I avoid it whenever I can make good connections another way (yes I do know soldering is the best overall but I have never had a problem in all the years I have been avoiding soldering). ANYWAY, those of you that did this mod successfully without soldering...any pics so we can see exactly where you slid and crimped or whatever to the maplight switches? Also, just to be extra safe, once again stating exatly which fuse to pull ahead of time to make sure we don't fry the expensive module? Thanks everyone. I am loving all the help and advice and trail blazing this site has to offer. Hopefully I will soon be able to offer help not just ask for it!
