  1. Looks amazing! did you have the lip molded onto your bumper? it looks higher and flush with the front bumper vents. details please. also what are you lowered on?
  2. looks amazing. i wish i had the balls to go that low.
  3. 17X7.5 unless somehow you have bigger wheel hubs. looks good.
  4. first thorough wash for 2011 LOL. washed wheel wells really well, clayed car, and waxed. not really completely thorough but enough to hold me til it gets a bit warmer. http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/7075/dsc01207t.jpg http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/4066/dsc01204ty.jpg
  5. ok i'm drunk, but i'm thinking of my car LOL. no i'm not driving but anyway i have 18's and i don't have a full sized spare and that worries me on how useless it would be if i had a flat. i have a 2.5i 5mt so no rear LSD. ok so our awd system is very sensitive to the tire's circumference, but that got me thinking; don't the inside wheels spin slower when we are turning? isn't this similar or worse than to having different a tire that slightly different? if i took my car to a nascar race my diff will eventually blow up?
  6. lol yea. but i like a clean car when theres fresh snow coming down. it looks so hot LOL. plus its easier to clean a clean car with snow on it then a dirty car with snow on it. theres coin wash 1min away so i usually rinse anything off before i come home if its been snowing that day. on another note, i like QSM because theres a cool purplish hue to the paint when the sun is just about to set.
  7. quick rinse/detail before storm. http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6444/12874262.jpg
  8. i did this a while ago and i had a slide hammer. it pulled the freaking hub right out of the bearing assembly . it was fun . its probably best just to take the whole knuckle/bearing out, then just press it out. http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/2313/dsc04785s.jpg
  9. how do you go about making a custom shield so that everything is focused and sharp. wouldn't that be kinda tough?
  10. spec b has rear torsen to i believe. as for refilling the rear LSD with this supertech stuff, i now believe its fine, because the viscous diffs are sealed units correct? you only need the fluids with friction modifiers if its a clutch type diff.
  11. you have a GT with rear LSD? i thought it is to be used only for top off? i figure it doesn't have the correct additives for LSD?
  12. i'm about to change my gear oil with this stuff. already bought it. question though. on the bottle it says "can be used for top off of limited slip/positive traction rear axles" considering that i don't have a rear limited slip, i should be able to just change out everthing using just the supertech stuff and not worry? http://i465.photobucket.com/albums/rr12/Ripsaw_1088/11-16-09004.jpg
  13. i love DBM. one of my favorites. i just wish it had a black interior. my choices were DBM > SWP > QSM. since QSM was the only one with a black interior thats what i got.
  14. still won't work i think. considering that the sti's have a hub bore of 73mm where as the 5X100's have a hub bore of 56.1mm. even if you could, the (assuming sti) wheels, need somewhere to sit on. bolt-on 114.3mm wheel bearing assembly probably won't fit either. part of the assembly sits inside the knuckle, and considering the bearing is bigger in the 114.3mm, that part that sits inside the knuckle is probably bigger too. considering that when 5X100 impreza's do a full sti drivetrain swap + 5X114.3, they swap the knuckles/suspension pieces front and rear i believe to make it work; i wonder if there are even actually any 5X114.3 legacy's running around; considering the difference's in the 05+ legacy's suspension, to the sti.
  15. yea because obviously only LGT's can do the speed limit on the highway, 2.5i's can't.
  16. slide hammer? you can borrow one at autozone. i advise against using it though. for me it pulled the hub out of the bearing and left the rest of the bearing assembly still in the spindle. pain in the ass.
  17. yearly inspections right? in PA, there inspections for vehicle and emissions.
