Budget side feed injectors
LegacyLGT05 replied to LegacyLGT05's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I guess the npboosted cheap injectors are working well -
Problem with cutting and running bad with fans constantly on was p0500 just remembered I accidentally torea a wheel speed sensor in the front when installing my new shocks lol
-
Cant get them off they stripped so need to cut them and alignment is out pretty bad one wheel is in and put new arms and shock
-
Riped off a wheel speed sensor when I changed my shocks , read people were getting same symptoms cutting ar like 4k and fans always on. When I reset ecu fans turn off and the engine starts running better. I'll replace it and hope that's it. Oh I also need rear bolts to align my leggy , is this two bolts or just one? It says kit. Thx boyz https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B07TBHNMJP/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

Yeah catless upper I bought the car like that so hard to tell if it's tuned for or not , I know it had 850cc injectors and when I got 550cc ones to replace it ran lean so idk
-
No uppipe , catted bellmouth downpipe 3.5 inch I think it's a OBX racing .. Al vac or boost leak, I'ma check flapper and boost control solenoid. If I unplug the BC's will it default to spring pressure
-
Cutting out like at 4k - 4.5k rpm. Seen intake at 21psi is it possible I'm hitting boost cut, I'll have to check my wastegate
-
Some reason 1 rad fan always on engine off key on or running its always on
-
Timing ok, changed plugs runs better now think it was coils but now it miasfires bad after 4k, boost leak test and found none. Vac at 19hg no codes
-
Thanks for the input kz. I shimmed the crank pulley guide and put new T belt kit a week after I dropped it in. It's also an manual and got new timing cover on er. Will defo check timing and go from there
-
Yo gang always something haha, I took off 1 2 3 and when I got into 4th it started to hiccup and backfired and would go and now it runs like crap miss 2/3 and cam sensors code but swapped them still runs crappy vac is good but can't seem to fix it , maybe timing jumped ? Only thing I haven't checked thx

Budget side feed injectors
LegacyLGT05 replied to LegacyLGT05's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
The stock ones that were on the motor are probably bad, it seems like the previous owner clamped / crimped on those little aluminum pintle caps and they look rough. It misfires time to time on multiple cylinders w new coils and new plugs at 0.030 gap. Buddy got a comp and leakdown test done and all checked out. just wanted to drop some new ones in but I also dont want to pay 100$ for 1 injector lol -

Fixed thanks everyone it was the hidden ignition relay " aka technically a main relay cause it was cutting the up power to the ECU. It's up in the dash by the passenger door and it was melted up, so I guess the evap canister electrical connector shorted and burnt the relay . Cheers y'all. Again . Great community. -

Yes also read that the mileage is stored in the cluster, got me confused .. So I put the other ECU for the other car and the BCM and the coil chip reader on the ignition but not the cluster. so you're saying if I put the cluster it might b the error HC fix? But I don't get why I ain't getting power to the ecu or in the main harness in the engine bay. Thx -

I had my evap canister deleted for a long time but a week ago I noticed the connector hanging behind my rear driver side wheel and I was reversing in snow yesterday pretty thick stuff. I ran over the connector and the connector isn't there anymore just bare wired and I can see they got fried . Is this my problem and I can't seem to find the routing. I put new ecu in and BCM and my cluster says the same. And same mileage on diff ecu that's odd afk. Only get power on 1 of the pinout on the main engine harness but every fuse in the fuse boxes has power -
